Its definitly not a copy of the UK republic. The fact is with all the clubs in the world your bound to find the any name appear somewhere else...

All I can say is WOW. What the hell is going on with Toronto these days anyway? I'm not complaining though. It's gonna be good being closer to Toronto. :)

Umm, i am sure they play a mixutre of both techno and progressive.

depending on the dj they bring

There really aren't many large venues that support local trance djs on a regular basis at all... too bad really, there a market for it I think.

Boa plays mostly house and tribal. Not prog. It also has an amazing sound/light system. And if you can find friendlier staff and a safer atmosphere in an after hours club in Toronto please tell me where.

Note: This doesn't mean I don't intend to check out republik. Every club deserves a chance (well, as long as it's not money).

yet i see a superclub like the guvernment bring in big trance acts and djs???:conf: :rolleyes::D

but i dont know, they are still bringing in in godskitchen etc.

thats because boa is going for a different type of image, and trance doesnt exactly fit into that.

Trance and E go hand in hand in most peoples minds and it's unfortunate.

Boa is trying to keep it classy, fun, safe and clean. I seriously commend them for that.
