the music taught me how to dance:)

like u TRY to kno how to dance. i dont think u can do that. u gotta feel the music and then just move to it. and besides everyones style is a bit different u kno wut i mean.

Ditto! Just moving with the music, no learning involved.

But for tips and ideas, just watch the gay guys, they tend to know what they're doing (partying, having a good time and not caring about what they look like, that's the key).

Ontop of the generic reasons, best bet if you are lost is to ask someone who is good how they do a particular move, etc... then once you have a starting point you will likely progress nicely on your own.

Watch others you wish to emulate and integrate some of what they do into what you do.. little from here.. little from there.. and b4 u know it you have your own thing

Just let the music take control and let it guide you... & try not to look like a retard :tongue2

What everybody else said is true...One thing I learned very quickly about this scene (versus the regular top 40 club scene), is that no one really cares how you dance...as long as your dancing. In some cases it's almost like your a weirdo if your not dancing, where as in some other scenes, your a weirdo if you are dancing. It's not always true (I mean..where ever I go, I dance my ass off any way. But thats just me).
