Why do people randomly start fights with people for no reason? I realize this is most common when alcohol is involved, especially at bars/clubs/parties.
What got me thinking about it is that I was walking down the street at night the other day and some dude just randomly started threatening me (he was drunk and with 3 other dudes nonetheless). I just walked down another street and avoided the conflict.
Basically, I think that people who like to go around and start fights with people for no reason are the lowest forms of humanity.
Any experiences or any thoughts on the topic? |

a big reason (music being #1, of course) why I like the EDM scene...you don't see like that at EDM clubs, for the most part. Neither I, nor ANY of my friends that I've been with, have EVER been involved in an altercation inside or outside an EDM club/event. No one goes to prove a point...no one goes with a chip on their shoulder...the b.s. machismo and thug mentality is absent or at least kept to a minimum...I like that a lot.
yay for us being mature and friendly :D
but I see it outside top 40, gino, and thug clubs all the time...how many times have I walked to System and listened the b.s people are talking outside Tonic or places like that...it's sooooo lame. |

| you should see the "mature" crowd at Afterlife on a Saturday...biggest group of trash Ive ever seen in my life...I saw some dirty things go on in that club that night. |

and then when they get their asses kicked, they go even lower and jump you with 10 of their friends after armed with knives and guns :rolleyes:

| That is soooo stupid...one thing i was so impressed with while in Amsterdam...everyone is so friendly, so nice, everyone is there to party and have a great time...crowds at innercity (50,000) were amazing...security people in suits and ties...I mean it was a whole different world...incredible...it's such a shame we have such stupidity going on in our clubs here :sadgreen: |

I blame it all on in hiphop and all the related crap to it.:whip: :whip:
Since I work at a top 40 club myself I see these things almost weekly.Most of these fights are either because of da girls or guys just getting drunk and bored and wanting to throw some punches around,and since they play hiphop mostly makes the situation even worse. :mad:
It really is sad how much violent we have in our clubs but hopefully one day people will realize that clubs are made for them to have fun and enjoy the music.Until that day we must just ignore those fools.:p |
