Yeah I was just reading CNN.com like 2 minutes ago and I clicked on the link that said he was in very poor health, then it took me to a page that said he had died.
RIP. |

I'm a proud democrat, but I do give credit where it is do. He did re-establish the confidence this country lost after the turbulent 70s; Vietnam loss, oil embargo, runaway inflation, and the Iran hostage situation. And he also was responsible for speeding the collapse of the USSR, freeing countless of people.
RIP |

I was born in 86, but what he did was long lasting... and I can comment on what he had done in office, him and Bush Sr. brought this country into a large economic downfall, he nearly brought us to the edge of nuclear war more than once, and he wasted billions on SDI and other defense systems that went no where.
|
What? I don't recall ever even coming close to a nuclear conflict.
You're right he did blow enormous amounts of money on defense, but it did have one historic result: the hastening of the collapse of the Soviet Union. |

| What a shock....well, RIP. At least he won't have to deal with that blasted Alzeimer's anymore. |
