the problem with alcohol is not only is it a lot of extra carbs...it also helps to destroy muscle. i don't remember all of the specifics, but its really counter-productive if you want to get into shape...

i wish i could drink green tea, but i can't...i hate that :D

Why spend a ton of money to hit up the gym....go walking....lose weight.

i don't consider walking exercise. i know when you're really heavy waking can do good, but when you're relatively in shape and or you get down to those last few lbs...walking isn't gonna do .

I don't really like going for long walks in the middle of downtown montreal (or runs for that matter), and I love the elliptical trainer. Also, I like lifting weights.

That's the other thing, if I lose like 7lbs I'll have a sixpack, so I need to really grind that off with high intensity cardiol nothing else works.

i am at the same point as u, and one of the trainers at the gym that i go to at school said that at this point its more about dieting to get that last bit of fat off the abs. he told me to do cardio every day of the week and try to watch my carbs as much as possible so the body would go into the fat reserves and burn up the fat in the stomach area. im in the process of trying this, hope it works

If you do cardio in the morning it'll help this, as you'll have no carbs floating around your system and you'll be burning fat. Drinking coffee will also help as it apparently helps release fatty acids in your system, which you can then burn off if you do cardio shortly afterwards.

Anyways, enough blabbing, I'm off to the gym =P
