i'm definately a liberal kinda guy, but I will not be voting liberal this year because of the abuse they keep putting us through

change is good, and maybe 10 more years the liberals can come back in.
I'd like to see a swap every 10 years.

good things happen that way

I'm not a politically-minded person by any means. I vote and have voted Liberal in the past because my family has done so. But yeah -- what McGuinty's done so far is despicable. Outright lying is immoral... but i dunno -- are the actions that he's taking (albeit contrary to his pre-election promises) going to help our society in the long run? I'm actually asking 'cause i dunno -- I haven't taken the time out to go through any issues (I know -- how could I not being a citizen of this country...)

Basically what I'm saying is that yes, he lied, but will it be justified if the outcome is good? (like the old saying "the end justifies the means")

Buddy, where the fk is the flag being burnt.
Its a distorting image of the canadian flag. I took it as the canadian way of life will be "distorted" under harper.

I tell you, i love harper for wanting to reduce capital gain tax, marriage definition but I doubt he would be the best leader for this country.

The faith and hope i use to have in politics has diminshed but I am
going to support Martin.

I'm as passionate about politics as you can get within normalcy..but man..you are just overboard!

You won't get better from Harper. What you WILL get is a Canadian Prime Minister sucking US cock, screwing healthcare and post secondary eduction funding, spending billions of dollars WE DO NOT HAVE (and COULD NEVER HAVE if taxes are cut), on the ing military. We'll have a US presidency-style two term Prime Minister's office. We'll have fixed elections...elected senator and Supreme Court judges...we'll have free votes and possibly referendums on abortion, gay rights and the death penalty...two of those issues were solved in the in the 70s and 80s.

For all the Liberal's mistakes...they have a far better vision of Canada than the "new" Conservatives. I'll be voting for them for sure, give the recent polls suggesting Harper will form a government. The undecided voters must support Martin.

Not to mention Harper thinking we should send troops to Iraq and claiming that a silent majority of Canadians are actually in favor of this (Fox news interview with Harper).

Harper says he won't send troops to Iraq...but he's just backtracking on what he said over a year ago. I watched The National that night and he said it was a sad day to see the US-British-Canadian military alliance broken for the first time (we had always gone to war together before). A silent majority my ing ass...does he not pay attention to polls? Over 80% of Canadians don't want any part of Iraq.

slightly edited...I agree with you 100% there. The Conservatives will be a big step backward for this country if they win.
