| sorry for short notice, but if anyone's interested, the tryouts for the 2005 us open are tomorrow, june 30 at 4 pm at the national tennis center (across from shea stadium) |

Is one of the requirements being able to run without falling on your ass or crashing into things? If so, -1 for me :p |

it's ok, i've fallen on tv, thrown it off the court, hit line judges, gotten yelled at by roddick and agassi for not paying attn... the list goes on and on |

lol.... how often do you have to be there per week on average? and for how long? do they give you free clothes (haha I wish) and how much do they pay? sounds like a cool job, I have one already but if I didn't, I'd be there :p |

every day, us open is two weeks long + one week qualifying rounds. clothes free, yes pay. |

hmm...when IS the US open this yr, exactly?
and how many ballpeople r they looking for. i can only imagine the line for tryouts; its def competitive, yes? and u need to have excellent coordination. |

august 29 through september 11 this year.
our needs differ from year to year... and pretty much everyone's an athlete, or in my case WAS an athlete at some point... i forget the numbers, but there's about 200+ ballpeople each year. during tryouts, at least 500.
i think about 70-80 rookies taken... |
