you know what i would do (if i was in shape) and a ball hit the net? id run two steps then do backflips all the way to the ball, grab it then flip again to the otherside :haha: how funny would that look on tv lol...
actually i cant do flips :( |

ppl have done combat rolls
obviously not on tv, cuz that's an automatic firing |

wow imagine if someone did do that during hte US OPEN, that would be INSANE. :D then again they would prolly get yelled at for the theatrics -- theres NO time to be doing that :whip: its catch and throw the ball quick quick quick

actually being able to throw OR
running fast with good hand eye coordination...
also paying attn, and looking like you're actually interested/belong
the throwing part is harder than it looks. during tryouts you always hear during the demo "oh that doesn't look hard" and these people can barely throw it over the net (you're supposed to throw from court end to court end)
oh and if it does make it to the other end of the court, it's way too high... = the ball takes too long to get down court = bad |

| One other thing with throwing the ball high... the wind will carry it and shift it off target. |

| I'd be pretty ill at the throwing part. I have a great arm and throw with almost no arc. The running and catching thing, on the other hand... I have disgustingly horrible knees, so running isn't really my forte. |
