After hitting up 4 parties in 2 days, I'm not gonna write a very long review.
Big thanks to Rony for hooking me up with a Danny T shirt, even tho I'd missed the pre-meet, and for whisking me past the security frisk claiming that I was 'a big time drug dealer'. LOL!
Thought Danny was a class act guy, coming down into the crowd. Too bad he wouldn't sign my cd, but I understand why. This was the most intimate environment I'd seen him in and thought it was the best of all.
The patio was a godsend, but it sucked me in once morning came, finding myself out there for long periods. Called it quits at 10:30am, cuz I had to go home to freshen up for the Armin boat cruise.
Erika, welcome home (however short your stay is), and its too bad u pooped out b4 the boat cruise, cuz it was awesome! Big hugs to all to everyone I saw & hung out with, that made the night so special.
This weekend goes down in history as the best ever. Danny, Armin & Nu-NRG (& a Cherry Beach party too) made for quite a memorable weekend. |

No cameras allowed in Boa. Which i think is nice. You had to be there to witness how truly unbelievable this night was. Pictures would not do it justice. |

You guys better stop it with all these touching messages.
I am starting to get emotional.
Normally at this time "7:50 AM" for five years and three months I was at 6 Hubert Street playing music and Being Myself with everyone......
That gig @ BOA only reminded me that much more of how much I truly miss Vinyl/Arc and everyone.
And believe me, I didn't need more reasons to miss our Be Yourself Fridays.
Why oh why do we not have a BOA and a STEREO in NYC?
Well, I do know why, and so do all of you when you really think about it. (G, etc.)
People of Canada, I hope you sincerely realize how lucky you all are! Please respect and protect what you now have. Everything in moderation...... Believe me, you do not want your city to become like NYC with no large venues left that deeply care and cater to us "underground" folk who are so passionate about the music. It's all becoming glamorized Mega Disco VIP cocktail nonsense here, or a maximum 300 capacity lounge with not efficient sound - and as soon as you enter the room BAMM your in the center of a small dance floor "being shooed around"
as there is no where else to BE?

It was a truely unbelievable night... First meeting some of my fellow TA's, to standing in a line wanting to pee in Max's pocket (i hope it was waterproof), to having to smell that putrid and defiling stench of the unknown effluence that came out of that kitchen, to finally getting inside and experiencing the best party that Canada has to offer... Danny T was truely one of the best (if not the best)Djs I have ever seen... Thank you all for making this a night to remember...

You guys have pretty much put everything i wanted to say in my review into words in this thread....
Danny T - Believe the Hype :) :)...this man is a must see...and you gotta stay for the majority of his set to reallllly enjoy it....
if armin wasnt on that boat cruise...i woulda stayed till the very beautiful end :) :)...14 hour set...incredible...
Boa gets a major thumbs up from me too...great sound...and one of the best crowds ive seen at any party period...even the setup isnt too bad once i got used to it...by 10 am it felt like home. |

| All I have to say is is that I am SO glad I came home a little early from tree-planting to see Danny @ Boa. Wow, thank you so much for coming out to Toronto to share Canada Day with us Danny and thanks to Boa for hosting such an AMAZING night and thank you to all of you that I partied with for welcoming me home so warmly - tatgirl, Floorwhore, Highroller, Diginut, charmscars (my lovely lovely girl), gqstyles, Max Q, Enraptured, Tamara, Gavin, Ahmit and many many more... It has all been said so eloquently before so I won't try to repeat how amazing a night it was. A perfect welcome home/send-off for me :) I love you Toronto ;) |

aww, that makes me smile that you think that, i feel the same way- at any party if erika is not there it feels like something is missing.
graham, you were in ushc amazing spirits, I could tell that this was shaping up to be a monumental night for you, and i was so happy to be a part of it!
I can't wait until DT comes back, i hope he doesn't wait so long this time! |

wow...incredible reviews guys. I can't even begin to imagine what it was like to actually experience that night :( These reviews are making me regret going away on vacation, lol.
Big respect to BOA for being such an awesome club, even the man himself had an incredible time from the looks of it.
