that left me ed up...I was never able to finish the game...cuz i wouldn't be able to sleep @ nite. I never played the series after that one. I was like 11 years old when it came out...so i was kinda young and maybe thats why it traumatized me so much...so yeah Silent Hill Series is teh scariest. |

| It wasn't that scary of a game, but the Diablo 1 music + the game added together at like 3 o' clock in the morning was kinda creepy for me when i was young... lol :stongue: |

| I can guarentee Silent Hill 4: The Room is seriously going to make a few thousand hairs stand up on my body everytime I turn the thing on. Can't wait for that game. |

Tried Silent hill 1 on PS1 many years ago, not really scary (maybe b'c i didnt play enough).
One game that freaked me out was Resident Evil 1 (lights off, tv on). So scary at that time that I have to ask my eldest brother play and i watch. |

i agree man. that is definitely the scariest game i've ever played. when those ghosts appear out of nowhere... like the hanging one and whatever. god damn SCURRRRRRRRRY. |

Resident evil screwed with my mind for the longest time. I would be walking down the road durring the night. Every little sound freeked the out of me.
AVP is also bad when your playing a humans and the radar is pinging away but you cant see anything. |

System Shock 1 made me lean around the corners of buildings at night before turning the corner.
Quake made me myself the first time a zombie rose out of the swampy water, right in front of me.
Haven't really played any actual horror games as such |

Playing AVP in a small room with all the lights out in the middle of the night, headphones on with loud volume...
Wham splort! Suddenly a huge facehugger starts sucking on your face/screen :eek: |
