| I didn't discover real prog trance until recently, and I like it now (but I still hate prog house). I think my first real delve into electronic music was epic trance. Now I still love that, but also uplifting and some prog. |

i started out listening to cheezy techno/dance played on the radio and as such because i thought it was "cool" back then when i was young... :whip:
but as i continued my journey through electronica i came across trance and absolutely fell in love with it
i havent turned back to the old cheezy crap ever since :D |

i started with a real small bit of trance (mostly cheese)
then i had a very big obsession with psytrance
then i had a smaller obsession with trance
and now im into prog, techno, house, tribal and acid.
btw, the prog stuff i like are not what most people here reffer to as prog,, cause when ppl here think about prog, their usually talking about james holden and such, which are not my style at all.
i think progressive house has a very wide spectrum,
and maybe it should even be divided into subgenres |

hmm
first i was solely into trance, some of my first compilations that i purchased being Gatecrasher - Wet, Trance Addiction, Trance Nation mixed by Ferry, etc. Then i got into other kinds of trance, then into prog, house, techno, and so forth.
nowadays i prefer prog./tech house, techno, tech/tribal, some prog. trance...essentially all kinds of edm as long as it rings euphoniously in my ears. Not as big of a trance fan as i used to be but still enjoy some good djs and productions. |

| i always loved the prog house that sasha and oak would play back in the day and i still like similar stuff today plus breaks...i used to like a lot of the older trance stuff too, but i don't really like the newer asot sound just because it all seems a little over done and too focused on trying to make the next silence (tiesto mix) |
