do you honestly think a club is going to cover a dj's flight, on top of their $30,000/show salary? especially cause when they tour, they arent usually just coming for that one show, they are touring the area, which means, flight in, and the bus around.
and you think the club is going to pick up their tab at the hotel for food, or if they go out? i dont. if i was club owner, yes i would show them as much hospitality as possible when they are at the club, but as for paying for their meals outside, think not. |

| 80% of all deejays have that written into their riders, depends on the deejay but Oakenfold has it all covered, I've seen his rider, it's rediculous |

| almost every DJ, even those from C, D, E list have their expenses covered. that includes flight tickets, accomodation, all the meals and usually all their other expenses (drinks, drugs, (whores)...):cool:it depends then on the rank of the Dj what kind of a flight/hotel he requires etc... |

Yes- its a fact.
To get a confirmed booking, a contract has to be signed.
Everything is covered in it.
All expenses must be paid, accomodation of a suitable standard provided, and the equipment list expected (normally states a paif of 1210s, pair od cdjs and a mixer with 3 band eq)
It is also customary for the promoter to take the guest dj out for dinner if possible, although this isnt always the case.
It does vary widely- but 99.99% of djs contracts will require aminimum of travel expenses and hotel acoomodation in addition to their normal gig fee. |
