you're welcome. and that's me being the bigger person here, saying you are an attractive guy even though you have insulted me in pretty harsh ways.
it's one thing to try to change the NYTA board, but it's certainly another to personally attack my appearance as well as insult my friends. i would have respected your argument a lot more if you hadn't resorted to petty name calling. in fact, as i recall i never said anything *too mean* about you in the past...just that i thought you and nyrolla were the same person? but that warranted you calling me a "blonde whale"?? you can think whatever you want about me...but i think i am a beautiful person inside and out...regardless of if i'm not 90 pounds. but when someone as intelligent as you (assuming you are in law school) resorts to childish insults, thats when it upsets me. if you know me and i have done something to offend you, then by all means, say what you want about me. but since i nor anyone else has met you, keep your rude thoughts to yourself when posting your opinion about the boards.
and if you are trying to make this board better, how is "trying to piss people off" going to make it any better? that just confuses the hell out of me. |

I have to agree I met a lotta new friends here with similar taste and passion in EDM.
As for posting crappy threads, I thinking the reason is NYTA has grown and many new members have joined (including me) and while they bored they come here where they know there are some commons among this community.
The heck, I don't even know what I am talking about now. Anywayz, just wanna say one thing "QUANTITY kills QUALITY, ALWAYS" on anything. :stongue: :stongue: |

Erin, don't listen to a word this has to say. Anybody that sits there behind their damn computer and pesonally attacks another persons pysical looks.....is only very self conscious about them selves. What he said about you is toally ing un called for and not accepted on these boards. Then he has the nerve to come back and just say "im only doing it to get people fired up." Give me a ing break. I don't care who the you are.....nobody has the right to come on here and say those kinds of things to ANYBODY. Id like to see him say those things to your face or anybody for that matter. Its totally disrespectful and we are all just a little bit dumber for readin his posts. Ive have known alot of my friends for a very long time.....and not once would I ever even think about making a comment or gesture about their pysical appearance.

I guess drama makes for an interesting topic, but my debate thread drowns LOLS I thought there'd be some intelligent debating but it seems that flaming is easier. Insults shouldn't be given and at the same respect shouldn't be taken. It's an intolerable act that makes for a rigid community, especially this one that is soo diverse in ethnicity yet so commonly bonded by music....
Erin his comment was out of hand, he shouldn't have said that, but at the same rate you shouldnt get too offended. be it that the points you posted are confirmations to yourself. Afterall we are a community here, and some people dont fit in, some like to stir the waters, others like to remain in the shadows. i know in the midst of anger and all you feel to lash out, sure you are entitled to, but don't let it get the best of ya...which im sure it doesnt...your better than that i know you are =) |

anyways, i think my main point in conclusion to the replies in this thread is:
in no way did i say i wanted a forum that only spoke about trance. oh hell no. so please dont make that assumption!~ :) , actually, i dont like trance anymore..i fell into the dark side hehe (aka prog) but i just liked to post here bc it was kinda my home.. maybe i'll continue to post here and maybe i wont.. i just know every blue moon or so i'll check up here, cuz i can't forget all the memories this place has brought for me..
anyways, basically my originally post could be summed up by "stop spamming the forums with useless e please" u know? it's FINE to talk about off topic issues.. let's just not make Ridiculous threads that have absolutely no point whatsoever or threads that are completely inappropriate.
i liked bri's point about teaching by example- you cant ask something to change by inaction, of course. but if y'all are happy with the way things are now, then that's kewl with me.. i kind of find it funny bc a lot of the people who have posted here saying that they liked the way NYTA is now have posted numerous times in the past flaming others about thread duplications and also flamed the posters of pointless spam threads- and now they seem to embrace it.
hmm.. yah, i guess that's it pretty much :)
once again, thanx u all for your (mostly) kind input lol, any other comments/questions/etc is welcomed of course. |
