yes this is just a message board that happens to promote the ideal vibe of the scene..friendly n open ppl whom i happen to get along wid online and in real life :) and agen i have to reiterate that i luv it

Ya know what....I do recognize you....you were standing behind me to the left at the Sahsa event. Well I give you credit for posting your real picture but arent you the least bit concerned about being completely flamed at the next event you go to by the people you insulted? |

hey wells at least he has good taste in Sasha lols and illl give him credit for having the balls to post his own opinion *shruggs** and everyone is free to do that as long as it doesnt hurt neone's feelings. thats where it initaly went awry...

I gave up on that what seems like a while ago.
Some people just need to hold on to positions of power (even those as insignificant as NYTA mod) in order to maintain their fragile ego's.
It's unfortunate for NYTA and all of it's contributing members, but TrancEaddict is a bureaucracy and operates thusly. Although we had previously been enticed with the suggestion of voting for a new moderator - we must wait for the current one to either abdicate or be impeached (like that would ever happen.)
It doesn't take a social engineer to find the major flaws in this system - but there will always be those privileged few (cronies) who will fight to maintain the status quo (like the Ba'athist party in Iraq).

i feel you on that.. i seriously think we should nominate potential tas for mod position then vote and choose one, then PM swamper about it. its really gettin ridiculous cuz redeye[ian] dont give a about this forum anymore nor post here. i know we tried to do it before but we should make a real serious thread about it like how porky[chris] did on the chicago forum. its not that hard to do... |

I don't know what else to add since you all have most of the points for both sides going out. ive been reading for awhile but only been so active lately. i like the boards cause i finally meet people that have the same passion for the music as i do since here everyone is into hip hop or rock.
as for the numerous random thread i guess you could just sticky the big ones or lump those 'pvd,avb,tiesto' threads into one or make 3 for each and just leave it for that and only that...
just a small thought (i just woke up :( )
but ya keep it peaceful i think we're good :) |
