i think the problem is simply, the ny boards have gotten too large for it's own good. with the influx of so many people it's hard to keep tabs on everyone when everyone is trying to be heard
i do miss the ppr days, i still have alot of ppl i'd like to meet anew and for the first time

been there, done that. about 5 times. just doesnt work. and for some reason it alwya gets closed. especially josy's (that one got pwned by swamper in less than 5 minutes!) hahahaha! |

hmmm Dani u know my feelings on this - I agree w/most of your point, as i pretty much know/hope do the TAs that came to the house party i had this past weekend - Tae and Jay especially, Chris and Chris (sot and st0w), Akko, Chung, - Albert - u were there in spirit.
I have never posted that much in the 3+ yrs i have been on TA - i wish i had tho back early in my "TA career" - Chris (sot) would prolly understand what i mean.
i do have one question/point - new PPR thread has been posed as an idea - i will go one better - for the obsessed crackhead oldies and specially noobies - make a f***in PVD PPR thread - just get over with already.
oh and another thing - Erin (tranceeyes22) why would u post back to "Ozzman"'s post tellin him that you guarantee that it would be the last time he ever posts in here - why r u frontin like that - u r not a mod 1st of all - but i mean more to the point why say it in general - just ignore it - i mean what - the weight involved crack he made - most guys on TA have seen pics of u - u look fine - no worries there.
one last thing - bubble - i think i met u at one of the TFST bbqs - u seem real cool - some threads u made coulda been pms like for sure - w/out a doubt.
Dani next time i see u, i'm gonna buy u a bubble tea for doin this - finally an intelligent thread.:toothless :tongue2 :crazy: :p :D |

yeah for me life just got in the way. well that and i havent been to many events in the NY area b/c of my location. there are so many new people!
as for another ppr, it wont happen. it has been tried and done and it just isnt the same. i dont think it will ever be. |

Well when the PPR was bangin she decide to make one at the wrong time so I understand Josy's thread being closed. |

Here's aquestion from a newbie? What is this PPR thread that you all are making reference to? Did anyone ever consider the fact that since this thread hasn't been around for a while, that newbies like myself have no idea what it's about?
And after reading all of the posts in this thread, I have this to say. Since when is one crucified for being who they are? What's wrong with posting what's on your mind? The people I have met on this board are my family away from family and I'm comfortable with them. I talk to most of them on AIM, on the phone, meet-up with them whenever possible and will continue to post with them on TA as often as I can. Someone please show me where the trouble/problem lies within my statement? |

My reply is that everyone has theyre own cup of tea. You may like to post about clothing (for example)and others may like to post about sex. We are all adults here and some posts will attracted some people and others wont.
You said that you couldnt click on the post, I am sure that others were glad to click on the post and share theyre experiences. If people dont mind being openly expressive about theyre sexual behavior that is on them to decide whether they would like to discuss it publicly in a forum. Just as you chose not to. In a place like this with people of many different tastes, everyone cant be satisfied, because when you satisfy one then another is disappointed. What I am basically trying to say is we have to share thise place together. All of us. Generally we are here because we are Trance Addicts, but we do have other likes as well. Occassionally, (or maybe more frequently) we do post about those here but it shouldnt be a problem as long as we are following the rules of the site. |
