Dude, it is a shame because you are def a great and considerate person. That's why you and I get along so well. I'm the same way as you. It's actually a big fault of mine, and probably yours, that I'm too nice and get taken advantage by the wrong people. But whatever, it's all good. You just keep being you, and I'll just keep being me! |

I really don't feel unbiased and diplomatic today, so here I go...
Oh shut up you little twat. That's great, making a list of who you love and hate. Should all the people you made a nice little paragraph of hate about leave NYTA? Should we feel bad about "polluting" TA? Oh off. I'll post what I want, and so will tranceeyes, and so will pvdobsession, and so will fr0st. We have every right to post what we want on this messageboard within the rules. And the rules say nothing bad about : posting pictures of tattoos, gushing about artists we admire, and stating opinions that we want to state.
I posted in threads and sided completely against you because a) I didn't see what your freakin problem was and what your goal is in bothering us and b) because you were insulting my friends and I tend to stand up for the people I love. I'd side against you any day. Stay off our boards unless you have a contribution, or unless you wanna make friends. Every one of us posting has one of those goals in mind. You're just a little a trying to reform something you're safely distanced from that you can bitch out from far, far away, behind a computer. I agree, but had the flamer not responded the way he did, you and I probably wouldn't be having this convo. But anyway, posts that flame people should just be ignored. As hard as that is to do, it's probably the best tactic and the BIGGER thing to do. I mean there's certain things that shouldn't be left alone if said to you, but for the most part, it's best to overlook as much as possible. BTW, my name's Joey. |

| yeah I agree Daniela, these forums used to be alot more interesting and funny back in 2001/2002/early 2003 when alot more discussions were about music/certain tracks etc. It seems kinda cliquy now, so I dont post much anymore, but Ive definitely met some cool people through TA, so I have nothing against it overall. Just wish it were more like it was in the past. Its still a good source for upcoming events, etc stuff like that. |

hi. i love electronic music. i love trance, prog, techno, whatever -- i don't bother to classify, i just want to soak it all up. i even love the tracks that i hate because, hey, the sweet ain't so sweet without the sour.
i love the way a track can swim into my chest and rush out through my fingertips and toes, sending my hips rolling and my arms in the air, banishing any unhappiness that the work day or fights with a jealous lover may have planted in your throat.
i adore seeing a live set. there's nothing like the energy of being surrounded only by people who LOVE THIS MUSIC like i do, who explode in ecstatic movement at a brilliant payoff, and the remind that lunatic behind the decks why he loves his job so much -- when have you seen anything like that in another other form of music?
so whoever we may be in our other lives, we're all here on this forum for the same reason: the ing music, man. don't forget that. and this is not to say that we should only talk about music, far from it. just enjoy the ride, y'all. there's a lot of great people around here. |
