Near death experiences?

Hey all,
Anyone here had any near death experiences?
I've had a few.
Got caught underneath a boat in spain bnack in 97 when i was 12. Got trapped in the gap between the propellers and the boat. So i had the blades hitting me and i was running out of air. I managed to swim down and backwards and made it to land. These two spannish women saw everything that happened and started screaming because all my side was cut. I collapsed on the beach then was taken to hospital. Turns out the bloke driving the boat was a completely pissed german bloke.
(Not really near death) I also had about six 240 volt electric shocks. 3 of them involving water...not good. |

You could say that. One of the strangest things to have ever happened to me. I was obviously resuscitated or I wouldn't be sitting here typing. Out of body experience indeed. |

when i was 13 i stole my mom's new car to go joy riding with my girlfriend.
i didn't get in a car wreck, but when my mom busted my ass that was definitely a near death experience. at least my life flashed before my eyes because i was grounded until last month. |

| I flipped a mountain bike and landed face first. Busted one of my front teeth, cut the out of my face in several places, and ended up in bed for two weeks with stitches. Closest I've ever come to death, because had I landed wrong my neck would have been broken. |

| i fell off a 30ft roof, and slid the whole way down trying to grab onto something (i do carpentry during the summer). The last thing before i fell was a 2 x 12 ROUGH piece of dug fur. ROUGH means when it went through the mill it wasn't sanded. I had road rash down the entire right side of my body. on the drop down i thought for sure i was a goner. i did a back flip and landed on my feet and continued to work for the rest of the day. |

| Got caught in a riptide in the ocean...I was just swimming and then all of a sudden realized I was in like 15ft deep water. I tried swimming in to shore but only got pulled out more. Luckily there was a lifeguard who pulled me in, I guess it's sorta near death because had there been no lifeguard I dunno how I would have gotten back in to shore. I later learn that if you're ever caught in something like that you have to swim diagonally to get out of the riptide. |

I have had a near death experience!
Me and my best friend (this was in Puerto Rico), we were HIGH AS !!!!!!! We had smoked ourselves completely retarded and decided to go to the mall.
Before doing so we decide to take the top off his Honda Del Sol.
So yeah we're cruising down a road in the city hearing some trance... I'll even give you the CD name and track (listen to it so you know what im talkin about)

So we're listening to this and anticipating the climax of the song (because it's so God damn cool!!!) And we're completely ignoring the road.
I was so into the song, and so he was that we didn't notice the red light in front of us at a 4-way intersection. It's traffic time, all these cars are all around, and out of nowhere we notice a car from the left is going to turn into our road....
You shoulda seen the look on his face when he saw us heading straight for him at 50mph!!!! We just missed him screeching our tires to break the whole way AT THE EXACT MOMENT OF THE CLIMAX (10:10min in the CD)....my body jolts back cuz i was so scared, my arms are flailing in the air, joel is screaming like a little girl, and we never stopped!
We screeched the WHOLE WAY through the intersection....
if you listen to the song, at that moment, it feels like your soul is still going with the music, even though it stops in those split seconds.....and to have that happen at the exact moment that i was high off my ass and going through that ty experience....yeah- completely enhanced my high for 2 seconds, and then it was all gone.
after we passed the light all joel could say was "i think we need to chill"

When I was a baby I got stuck i my quilt in my bed, my sister wanted to check on me since I was so cute and everuthing :D They found the whole bed wet, since I swetted so much. I was also purple in me face!
Good thing I didn't die |

Actually you're supposed to swim parallel to the shore, since rip tides are very localized. You will eventually reach a spot where there is no riptide and be able to swim in.
I guess the closest for me would be riding down the highway in my friend's jeep when it started to pour down rain. He put on his brakes to slow down and tried to change lanes but began to hydroplane, then freaked out and cut the wheel hard. We ended up sliding sideways for about 100 feet @ 75 mph (in a JEEP mind you, these things roll over quicker than your family dog) before hitting the grass median, which was luckilly softened by the rain, or we'd have flipped and been toast. We ended up doing a 450 degree spin through the grass median and came about 6 feet from sliding into the oncoming lane before we finally stopped. By that time we were good and stuck in mud, and about 6 feet from the oncoming lane of traffic, pointed right at it. We had to floor it to get out of the mud while trying not to shoot off into the wrong lane. Finally we turned around and got stuck again trying to get back on the road. Made 2 or 3 cars swerve away from us once the wheels finally caught and we wen't tearing off.
My friends will tell you that while they were all screaming and holding on, I was just sitting with a non-chalant look on my face while watching the ground go by out the window. Hehe |

i was 13, and i had appendicitus. the most extreme pain ive ever had in my life. they pumped me up full of morphine and i passed out for 2 days, in which they did surgery, and stuck a breathing tube down my throat, very uncomfortable.it still hurt so bad i didnt want to stay awake so the morphine helped me sleep another 24 hours until the pain became barable.
other than that, ive been in a couple car accidents. |

when i was a baby, i got stuck between the side of my crib and the matress, or well my head did.
It was weird because my mom saw this lady dressed in black come in and bend over my crib to pick me up and my mom jumped up and that's when she saw that i was suffocating... She picked me up and i was all purple and shook me and I was ok.... See it as death coming to get me or an "instinct" that i was about to die....
Also when I was like 3 I was in playschool and I fell with the side of my head against the corner of a table. If it had been a centimeter further it would've killed me.... |
