couldnt agree more..you should never settle for something that doesnt meet ur standards..lotta people tend to settle for some reason..if u r not swept off ur feet and like dreaming about the person then why bother? |

see i think i've learned from my last relationship is that you gotta have your own life. don't be so dependent on your gf/bf...stay busy and see each other when you can. i think that is the key |

but seriously, it is imperative to have your own life, do your own thing- when you see each other its all the more special.
giving some one their space, letting them live their lives and vice versa is the best way to go about things. Then when she wants, she can hang with you and your friends, blablablabla but it all has to take a natural course. Nothing forced.

I want to be with someone that wants to be with me as much as I want to be with him. Sounds simple? It is. I refuse to chase after someone. Life is too short to always be wondering what the other person is thinking. You may think it is fun at first, but then it gets old. I want to be sure of who I am with. I want him to be sure of me as well. I don't play games. I did enough of that when I was younger and played like hide and seek. I don't play hide and seek with my feelings.
In order for me to be happy I need to connect with someone in the following ways:
Mentally
Intellectually
Emotionally
Physically
Spiritually
In order for me to fall in love with someone I need to have reverence for him...something that I currently have. ;)
I wrote this once to someone and it is worth repeating because I truly feel this way...
I don't want someone to just add color to my life...I have friends that do that everyday. I want someone that will come into my life who's presence will have such an affect on me that it leaves me breathless to the point that I am brought to my knees from overwhelming feelings and emotions. Someone that when I look at him I feel profound love, respect, amazement, and adoration. In one word...reverence. |
