I don't chase. Sorry, I'm not one of those girls that's all about the "omg there's a hot guy I'm going to go say hi". There are plenty of girls willing to do that for me, I'll just stand back. Too many girls are throwing themselves all over guys. I'm not down for the change in the dating scene. Girls go up to guys and hit on them? Um.. no, I don't think so. Thanks, but no thanks.
Plus, I'm way too shy. I can see it happening now. *scene in mind* Attempting to pick up a guy it's probably go something like this: I'd walk up, looking around nervously for a girlfriend, get about 20 feet away, think to myself I'm a moron and walk away. yeap, that's about right. :stongue:
I thought the problem was simply with younger guys, but it seems like it's all ages. My last boyfriend was nearly 26 by the time we broke up. That didn't help too much. Plus, so many guys treat their girls like crap. Chivalry has found it's end. :sadgreen: Now it's "bitch make me a sandwhich" talk.
I, for one, am SO SICK of the "I'm hot " attitude and the "bro's before hoe's". Grow up boys. |

I, for one, am SO SICK of girls having the "I'm hot " attitude and putting meaningless things over personality. If you think guys still can't be 'chivalrous' and treat women well you are hanging around the wrong guys. Granted, the 'bros before hoes' mentality has it's applications, but it's not even close to being the be-all, end-all attitude of men. Far from it, actually. |

i used to feel that way too sara...i was way old fashioned, but lately i'm different. i like taking the initiative sometimes...at least in the breaking of the ice. not the whole time, then it's too easy. most of them are intimidated anyway by girls. i won't go up to a guy and ask for his number, or buy him a drink....but i have no problem asking his name or just introducing myself and striking up a convo...after that, the ball is in his court if he wants to get my number.....
