eek, sorry about the pm dave. it didn't dawn on me until afterwards where i realized that you *might* be swamped with pm's/emails since you're the organizer for this shindig.
But there are two posts going on about this same subject, which is kind of odd, and someone that said they were a definate 'in' for the preparty might have been skipped in the mix while others that responded later did get added. ;) |

hi! i'm moving to LA next week & i definitely want to come--i hope i'm not too late.
i would say add me+1 but if it looks like it's going to be too crowded then i'm willing to come by myself. or maybe you could limit the # of guests each ta can bring.. |

Hey Dave here some suggestions based from my experience when I coordinated the Ferry meet up earlier this year.
1) I made sure that TA's would be on the top of the list since it is a TA thing.
2) Obviously the contributors (DJs, speakers, table....) should get priority.
3) TAs that responded first should get second priority .
4)for those TAs that wanted to bring over 3-4 guest, should be asked to please but back on their list. No hard feelings, the truth is that it is a "private" party.
5)I posted a message stating that only TAs who are on the list could go.
But of course, some extra people showed up but it was pretty contained and everyone was respectful and understood when I asked them to cut back the guest list. Anyway, I hope this helps. It's a TA party, so TAs need to understand why we need to keep the number of people reasonable. |

it's my house, there's always room for one more :p hahhaaha
anywho... So this is a go right? I need to confirm that will be using the speaker and amp with my friend, so he can rent it out if we don't use it. |
