But you have to realize that when you're put on the spot like that, sometimes it's hard to answer... even if you are the president. After all, he is a human being too.

yes, it is hard to speak in front of people. But he should atleast know the meaning of a word that he has been preaching to the rest of the world about!

EDIT: i love the laughing in the background!

are you gonna give me the 'no leader is perfect' crap??
Anybody in the world is probably a better leader then Bush even a monkey.

LONG LIVE MICHAEL MOORE

Well, there goes your credibility. http://slate.msn.com/id/2102723/

This clip is pretty old actually, unless it's very similar to one I saw several months ago. Yeah, Bush is stupid. So what, Jean Cretin and Paul Martin have made plenty of stupid comments too, not to mention Dan Quayle, Bill Clinton, Richard Nixon... let's face it people, you don't become a federal politician unless you're a little bit of a dumbass. It just so happens that the media hasn't placed the others under as much scrutiny (except maybe for Dan Quayle, we were always hearing about his antics).

Still a pretty good laugh though.

BTW...there's a pretty big chance he'll get re-elected so who knows maybe we'll have a few more years of laughs

I haven't watched Fahrenheit 911, but after watching the Canadian segment of his previous "blockbuster" Bowling for Columbine, I would be very sceptical to completely believe anything that he says.

I would not be surprised if everything Michael Moore says is completely true.. to me the problem is WHAT HE DOESN'T SAY !

It's like taking a quotation out of context. That's exactly what Michael Moore is doing. He is showing only one side of the story, and doesn't tell the rest.
starsearcher
^^^ That sounds about right...I guess that's the whole idea to make it "controvercial"...same with that Bush clip we just saw...maybe he was SPECTACULAR on the other questions and seriously ed up that one...so obviously someone's gonna show that one to make fun...it's usually the same story.

What pisses me off about Michael Moore though is that he's kind of an annoying ...I hate people like that...it seems like he's really enjoying the idea of messing with people and ing things up - I personally know a few people like that and they piss me off.

It's wonderful when he exposes corruptions, and bad things that other people get hurt from as a result. But in many cases I see him as just a trouble maker.

Another thing that bothered me is the fact that he made SO MUCH MONEY from Farenheit 9/11...and instead of giving a large portion of it for the people that were touched by the issue, he seemed to have kept it all to himself. So now he mhimself is getting rich of the guys he claims are theives and etc...I'm sure that he himself isn't such a clean boy either :p. Now that I think about it...it would be cool if someone made a Michael Moore type movie about Michael Moore :p

*EDIT*
I'm not against Michael Moore...there are just many things about him that bother me that's all ;)
Orko
^^^i dont think he is against capitalism, so think he should get to keep the money. after all he did make the movie. Just because somebody claims to be crusader, doesnt mean they have to be that way all the time. people make their money in much more dispicable ways, he just made a movie, which some people didnt agree with. nothing wrong with that.

if anything, he is an entertainer, if not a politcal activist, he entertained me, he deserves to keep my $10.
starsearcher
Okay that's a good point of view...in that sense you are right, he is entertaining and he does not seem to be against capitalism...but in some way I still feel as if he's profiting from exactly what he was against...it's weird
Orko
if you think the movie is lies, then yes you are right.

he is doing exactly what he has been against for the last 10 years. Exploitation. he is exploiting the bush admin to make money.

but thats IF you believe what he is saying are lies.

starsearcher
I haven't seen the full movie yet, but regardless I don't know if it's lies or not. I think I personally would like to take Durafei's point of view...not what he says...but what he doesn't say ;) But no I don't think he lies...maybe "edits" some info but not lies.

Haven't the Bush and his administration been doing that same thing as well? NOT mentioning that Bin Laden actually worked for US government, NOT mentioning that US government actually sponsored all kinds of terrorist actions in the past, etc, etc...

Come on, bro... Michael Moore is making his point, and he's only throwing proofs that will support that point in the movie.
