nah we wont get that bad...we dont have a big enuff lower class and we never will..the thing abt crime is usually how big ur lower class is..and in toronto theres only one class and its called the middle class..and its virtually impossible to leave..u wont get rich u wont get too poor..ull always always be middle class..these people who are part of gangs selling drugs etc.. theyre just trying to make a quick buck, theyre not starving at home, they got a shelter over their heads..theyre just tyring to get richer but...3 things happen to these type of people either they go to jail they get killed or they grow out of the phase..and this is how toronto operates..welcome to toronto where everyone is the same |

I was in China earlier this year, and the cities there are AMAZING! Modern, gleaming, vibrant and rich cities full of energy and commerce.

Crime is not directly related to economics.
Also, compare Rosedale to Jarvis/Parliament. Huge economic difference. |

not in toronto it isnt...because our lower middle class (which is by the way our ghetto) theyre still making and pulling in 30-35 g's a year which isnt that bad. not only that but toronto doesnt have a lower class region. toronto is not like the states where they pile all their "garbage" into one spot. man lok where i live in etobicoke..on one side of the street theres projects and when u cross the street theres 700 thousand dollar homes..
how the u gonna tell me that crime is not directly related to economics..u go to detroit and walk down the ghetto at night and then walk down the upper class suburbs..see how many times u get stabbed and in which area.. |

people dont commit crimes for sport..most of the time they commit them out of desperation...and kids see this and follow in its footsteps until theyre older have more responsibility and then start doing it out of desperation as well

I agree with that to some extent, but whites eventually all move to the suburbs to escape. Just look at the growth of Woodbridge.

it's related to race more than it's related to economics
my grandparents and their peers came to this country with NOTHING and worked their asses off
certain other groups commit way more crimes than others....
and instead of pretending that's not the case, we need to help them find solutions |

woodbridge is no longer filled with rich white people anymore..just to let u know. but i agree most do move out to the suburbs...but i only have one question considering how expensive it is to live in the city,i mean my house a lil pieceof two storey which woulndt be worth spit anywhere else but is worth 350 thou over here, how can these new immigrants afford to live in the city with such inflated prices?

thats soime racist ..u should watch american history X...listen to me when our parents came here and our grandparents..toronto was very very very very very different..and i mean very different...ill show u how different its a lil off topic but it shows u just how different things were...my friends dad is a doctor..he joined med school right after highschool..his average was a B- when he came out of hs...he got accepted with no problems...he now is in loaded...took him 5 years to learn the prtactice..and hes laughin..can u do that now? nope..u have to do 4 years of university before u can even apply to med school and u need one of the highest GPA's to even get accepted...i know this is off topic..but it goes too show u how different things were..times change man..times have changed drasticaly since our parents first came here...
anyways my point being the people coming to this country are no longer european whites..and times have changed and its not easy to get a higher middle class paying jo anymore..hell these suckers comin out of years and years of uni are gonna find that out..trust me u cant blame race..it has nothing to do with race..nothing at all
if ur parents came here nowadays from europe with no education (most of the people coming here have 0 education cause theyre mostly coming from 3rd world countries now) trust me theyd be committing crimes too...
but we're getting confused here...like i said from the beginning this isnt the case in toronto..cause we dont have a large a crime rate..theres not alot of crime and there is not alot of poverty |

once again our crime rate is not that high..and no matter hwere u in north america there is black on black violence..u know why? because of drugs..our government invest money in getting these dealers off the streets but its the same government investing money into cocaine trafficking. why because its the best selling product in North America...ahh our drug epidemic..what an irony what a paradox..but the reason its tagrted at blacks is because at one point when this was first introduced they had no human rights..or very limited human rights..having them kill eachother over this was no big deal..but now its a in problem isnt it...but i also blame hip hop culture for glorifying this...u know if some of these idiot rappers made some new marketing schemes drugs bling bling and wepons wouldnt be glorified all thta much
and one more question whos smuggling the guns into this country when i cant even get a water pistol over the border? |
