Rooney Signes For Man Utd For 37mil Euro

| Shocked it went down so quickly. Apparently he signed for 37 million euro this morning he passed his medical. So what do you guys think. Also the deal apparently sees no one move to Everton in return. |

No wonder was busy all morning turn on the mac go to planetfootball, and I see all these deals done. Being an Arsenal fan I do not like the transfer and Im not threatend by it either. |

Not Man Utd's biggest priority, more of an investment for the future.
Most Man Utd fans seem to think that a replacement for Keane is their biggest priority and I'd agree with that. |

| benni mccarthy is said to be probably heading from fc porto to everton today to compensate the transfer of rooney. we've just confirmed the signing of luis fabiano but still i think it would be bad to sell mccarthy, there's only two more strikers in the squad: derlei and postiga - jankauskas has just been loaned to nice, hugo almeida is going to be loaned to boavista and bruno moraes is going somewhere else too. wtf? |

Who needs angulo, although it would have been nice to add depth. evilbastard is right, talk to Man Utd fans in manchester and they will say they need a Keane replacement, also most I know didnt want Rooney this year.
Think its a bad transfer. Everton need to get Beattie too he would fit in bettert than anyone else in my oppinion. |

| offcourse there are other positions i rather want them to buy a player for (G. Neville, Keano or Giggs replacement), but the fact that they finally bought a top-class player is what pleases me. saha and smith is good but nothing exeptional, but if they want to be the best club in the world again...Rooney is a player u should go for! |

We didnt want to buy rooney atleast until january but with newcastle suddenly tabling a bid, fergie had no choice as the baord had told him ages back to land this lad. I fookin wish robson had been sacked 3 days back so that not only would rooneys value fall but wed have time to decide which striker we could offload because i dont see RVN, Saha or smith as strikers who should be on the bench, dunno how well this news will sit with them.
I agree we need a replacement for keane but at the moment i cant think of one because the only 2 candidates( viera & gerrard) would never come to old trafford.
Giggs is also getting old and i think we need to pick up van der vaart to replace him soon. |

| You say you want to get van der vaart but I must say that you will have to start winning some trophys. Ajax just let Ibrahimovich go today and I dont see them letting Rafael go any time soon that includes next year. I belive that Ajax are going to try to keep him and Sneijder and look for Zlatans replacement, Remember Zlatan was not getting along with the lads after Sweden v. Holland |
