Well - these two bands BOTH have dj's who incorperate EDM sounds in their songs. If you these events dont interest you, there are a few dozen others to look at.

The thing is, there are so many places on the net that post event listings for the mainstream artists, and by posting them here you are simply clogging the space and confusing devoted EDM fans who probably never heard of these artists in the first place; thus they might buy a ticket and realize the "horrorendous" mistake thet've made ... at least say what kind of music it is. There's not enough space on our event listings for that mainstream crap. I protest. I think I should write a former letter of complaint to Webmonsta.

However, if those mainstream artists WOULD LIKE TO POST THEIR EVENTS OR SPONSOR this site or something like that, or SUPPORT US, then why not? But otherwise, I think its bullsh-t. Electronic music rocks. You wouldn't believe how many "atheists" (mainstream-listening-to people) I've converted to electronica [mostly trance and house], I've managed to convince a lot of people how good this music is. My best friend used to hate trance. Now he adores Paul Van Dyk & Oakenfold. He even went to see PVD with me this summer. Overall, I'd say I've converted about 15-20 people in the past 4 years. Recently, I've met this one girl at work, who listens to metal and rock, and at one time she listened to 90s dance back when it was Corona, Energy 108, Chris Sheppard [old-school GOOD stuff), Culture Beat, 2 Unlimited, etc. I used that link in an effort to change her mind about house and trance music (by getting some BETTER underground dance of that era for her), I got her some house/trance stuff, AND TO MY UTTERMOST SURPRISE, SHE LOVES IT!!!! Maybe as a next step - I'll take her to a club ... like Guv or Viva

I know this is a TRANCE board and all but it's not all directed at trance.. i see threads all the time that have nothing to do with trance. I don't think by ppl posting events about incubus that it's doing something bad to the trance community. Alot of ppl on this board do like other music other than just trance, including myself. I love incubus - i think they are totally talented and i appreciate the music that they make. I was happy when i saw the thread about their gig here.
I would agree with you if someone posted a thread saying britney was in concert or something lol someone who has lil to no talent at all.

 lol

what are you trying to prove?

Nothing in particular. I support the music that needs my support. I support the music that supports me. I dont give a ... about the music that doesn't give a ... about fans, or if it carries a bad image. But I am pretty sure that Incubus is not a bad band [acoustic rock], but that kind of music is a big turnoff for me, and I enjoy a very active lifestyle. Thats all.

So NOW you are curious, EH?

Magnetonium
Just kidding. My life is actually quite boring and sad, so the electronic music is all I have and I dearly hold on to it. :(

Well, I am single, STRAIGHT and looking ... I am a virgin, OF COURSE, and my previous statement is very true ... mainly cause many people down here hate electronic music for some weird reason

EDIT: I notice your nickname says "Kandi". Does that have anything to do with house music associated with that title?
