oh and there is nothing wrong with being a guy and cooking! my dad is the cook out of him and my mom...my mom can cook, but she's not spectacular or anything...she always worked, so she isn't that type of mom who slaves in the kitchen all day, with homemade everything...my dad is the chef...i learned a lot from living with him for a couple years in high school. he's a good grill man too. he's so funny, he loves to talk about recipes that he invented, like a chick.

My mom sometimes makes this stuff, but hasn't recently :whip:

I can't complain though, as she does all the cooking for me, including getting up at 5 or 6am to pack my meals for the day.

I guess you could say I'm spoiled in some ways :D

I don't eat red meat or pork. I eat chicken, fish, and turkey but very rarely. I eat a lot of vegetables. I love fruit. I LOVE strawberries, pineapple, navels, oranges, bananas, etc. I don't eat fast food or things like chips. I eat rice quite a bit and I love all forms of potatoes. I enjoy pasta and I am a sucker for bread too. I hate restaurants that don't serve bread with my dinner. :p I'm not a huge sandwich person. I only like them if it is a hot sandwich. I watch my carb intake, but I have to have some guilty pleasures or I will go mad. :p I drink Monster energy drinks and Lost Energy Drinks like they are water. I have cut back, but I still prefer them over soft drinks. :D

What kind of soup is that is it borsch? <-- Donno the spelling(beetroot soup) . or maybe it's purple cabbage soup?

I hate it when eggs are boiled as hard as those eggs in that soup, when they start to go brown at the yolk :nervous:

One thing that I would like to try is Salmon, I've never had salmon before, If it's anything like trout it must be pretty good.

Not quite, borsch is served hot with a spoonfull of sour cream (as far as I remember) and can sometimes contain small meatballs.

i'm not a big pork eater myself...i don't like ham that much (like a big honey baked ham for dinner)...i mean i'll eat it, if that's the only thing being served, but i don't love it. and bacon is like once in a blue moon if i go out for breakfast...it has to be really crispy if i eat it.

i love red meat though...a big juicy burger or a filet mignon...mmmmm

i also could eat a whole plate of just veggies and rice too for dinner...

i like asparagus, creamed spinach and corn...

oh yea and sushi! love the stuff...i've tried a lot but i stick to the basics like spicy tuna, spider roll and cali roll..and edomame (steamed soy beans) is awesome too...

thai is great tooo....spicy pad thai noodles w/ shrimp is my favorite thai dish

I can't eat red meat. My body can't process it. One doctor described it as my body attacking it like it was cancer. When I was little it would make me violently sick. Throwing up to the point of convulsions...high fever...the chills. I would be sick for days after eating it. They ran tests and finally determined that I was basically allergic to red meat. Sorry...no other real way to describe it. What a difference it made after cutting it out of my diet. I was underweight when I was young. My parents say that it was a night and day difference after we eliminated it from my diet. It's been so long now that I couldn't tell you what it tastes like. When I eat out I have to stick to things that I know won't have traces of red meat in them. That's one of the main reasons why I won't eat at fast food places. I can't risk eating something that was cooked on the same grill as red meat.

I forgot to mention that I LOVE ice cream! :tongue2 Makes me slightly ill at times. :p

here's my most complicated recipe.

take a hot dog, put it in the toaster (full power).

voila.

bbq style hotdog, without the bbq. :)

I cook lots of pasta dishes, and plenty of chinese style rice dishes, I also make a wicked rissoto, which is one of my favourite dishes to eat.

I also am not a fan of pork, I don't eat it at all, I once had this gammon that was like totally off, and it put me right off the whole eating of pigs thing.

One think I love to eat is ox tongue, we usually have that cold with salads and stuff at xmass time

Another thing that is most exellent is Ox tail stew, cooked with broadbeans
