I think the tongue I used to eat was from a cow, I'd usually eat it cold with some horseradish

You guys are great.. you use adjectives I havent seen you use before.
Seems like the food slylee is making is too good to describe, in words!

Am I invited to dinner?

Anyway, my favorite is entrecote (fried -, my dad has to make it :)) with baked potatoes (mum) and garlic butter (sister) with a nice salad with garlic dip (mum) drink: Coke :)

I can cook alright. I make a kick ass spaghetti. All my sauce is made from the unflavored tomato sauce cans. Then I add hamburger meat, onions, red peppers, sometimes green peppers, sometimes mushrooms, sometimes diced tomatoes, and seasonings. I use about 6-7 seasonings that make it pretty good.

I love pizza. The best day after food ever. No matter how hung over you are or how empty your stomach is, pizza always goes down well, especially New York Style.

I like to grill a lot as well. I have a pretty large grill and love to grill chicken, steaks, hamburgers, brats, hotdogs, etc...

Another thing that almost never disappoints is a good sandwich. I love turkey sandwiches, especially on french or italien bread. With the pickle thing you guys were talking about, I really like dills uncut. I love to slice them up and put them on an english muffin with margarine. That's all you need. Everyone thinks that it sounds gross until they try it, and end up loving it.

Not as big a fan of seafood and greens, but there are exceptions.

I can't eat red meat. My body can't process it. One doctor described it as my body attacking it like it was cancer. When I was little it would make me violently sick. Throwing up to the point of convulsions...high fever...the chills. I would be sick for days after eating it. They ran tests and finally determined that I was basically allergic to red meat. Sorry...no other real way to describe it. What a difference it made after cutting it out of my diet. I was underweight when I was young. My parents say that it was a night and day difference after we eliminated it from my diet. It's been so long now that I couldn't tell you what it tastes like. When I eat out I have to stick to things that I know won't have traces of red meat in them. That's one of the main reasons why I won't eat at fast food places. I can't risk eating something that was cooked on the same grill as red meat.

I forgot to mention that I LOVE ice cream! :tongue2 Makes me slightly ill at times. :p

oh man that sucks! I dunno what I’d do..lol oh well, it’s healthy anyway right? and HELL YEA on the ice cream. I don’t have a sweet tooth, but when I do, it’s either chocolate ice cream or chocolate chip cookies that i have a weakness for. I’m an ice cream snob too...gotta be haagen dazs:) i only like butter pecan or plain chocolate. I like to pour milk on my ice cream too for some reason..it forms like flavored ice milk it’s so good.

It's very nice hot also , with mashed potatoes

Very nice pasta dish (puttanesca)

a load of olive oil in a pan
fry about 2-3 finely sliced onions in the oil
add some crushed carlic
throw in about 4-5 anchovies and mix them in till they dissapear
throw in about a table spoon of dried origano
throw in chopped black olives and turn off heat (don't let the olives fry)
Cook some spagetti
throw it in the sauce and mix till all the spagetti is coated
Throw in a few handfulls of parmesan

It's mouthwateringly delicious (Where the hell is the drool smiley?)

whoever said they want to try salmon, try going to a seafood market (or grocery store if they have a decent fresh seafood section) and get some crab stuffed salmon filets (they should be able to prepare them for you). I take teryaki sauce, honey & some spicy spices (crushed red pepper) and make like a glaze over it and add ritz crackers and nuts too for a crunchy topping...it’s killer! my bf loves when I make that...

for side items to compliment it, go w/ a baked sweet potato and some steamed aspargus w/ lemon juice and butter:)

When it comes to seafood the best stuff I've ever had is in Norway. The salmon and shrimp out there are to die for. Shrimp here suck my balls. They are smaller there, but that much more flavorful. With a baguette and mayo (margarine for me as I don't care much for mayo) it's awesome.

On Sunday, I ate at a french restaurant at the Paris hotel here in Vegas, the one with a patio outside accross from the Bellagio. Best Fillet Mignon I've had in awhile...with a red wine sauce and watercress greens and potatoes.

I wanted that meal to never end

The only problem was, none of the waiters spoke french, and I couldn't enjoy the steak with some good wine.

even though they say a strong cabernet is good for filet, i prefer pinot noir...not so much bite...i like filet w/ no sauce on it..just some fresh ground black pepper and maybe some butter...that's it.
