although im not too happy about john howard for another three years, things are gonna get real ty if he gets the senate (looks like he will)....it means that we get to see the real face of the liberal party.

I think I'll move be moving to New Zealand after this election result. As mentioned, I think this liberal term we shall see the real face of the Libs with how the senate is shaping. And yeah geee, we crying uni students are really gunna feel the full brunt of Liberal policy. I'm sorry that my parents dont live in the north shore and have thousands to fork out every year in fees :whip:

I don't like the way the Senate is heading.. :nervous:
Romp
likely majority in the Senate next year :( Now they are going to be able to do anything they want.

The most disappointing thing is the way Australian society is changing. We used to be a caring society that looked after each other, 'mateship', 'fair go' and all that. Now we are turning into a 'me first' American style society.

:)

If its wasnt clear before the election it is now. The labor party and its supporters have truly lost the plot and lost any confidence they had in the electorate. THey showed no vision, no direction and throughout the election campaign tried to divide the nation with their health and education policy. THe us poor guys vs teh rich guys. I got news for you latham. We are all the same.

Romp you make me laugh... your own party was the one trying to divide society  and it backfired.

One more thing...to the labor state governments, your honeymoon is over, this landslide is as much lathams fault as yours. I for one dont want tolls Bracks!

I for one at least know the next 4 years will be the safest its ever been and could possibly be :)
