great night! left at 6am.. have a bad case of 'Rev rot' today.. I wasn't as into the the music this time, as I prefered DT's Boa set, but it was still great. The Docks is not my favorite venue, but I enjoyed myself, we stayed in the back for a portion of time and there was plenty of room to dance. Ppl were mostly nice, a few pushy ppl, but more polite ppl than anything. I love the bathroom situation at the Docks, at Guv going to the bathroom is an ordeal. I can't say enough how apprecitaed it is when a club has adequate bathrooms for the amount of ppl!

was great to see everyone out. I felt really happy and comfortable having so many ppl I adore around me- I had some great conversations! I had a lot of fun w/ you all! I should really try to plan some sort of dinner/bar night where we can all hang out and talk :)

I thinking about hosting a weekend gettogether at my cottage in the beginning of November... What do you all think?

Oh man... I left @ 10:15, I was just too dead. I'll keep this short, great set, though I had more fun at Boa because I found the crowd to be a lot more friendly (and less pushy) but the track that made it all worthwhile was:

--> Feel Free - Yves DeRuyter <-- :D

Talk about a blast from the past!!!

Now, I really want to take a break from all this partying... :nervous:

Danny T is a ing god... thats how its possible

He tied the length of the set he plated at stereo? Hold Crap! If I knew he was gonna stay on so long, I would have insisted they let me back in after going for a breakfast.
My god, Danny is the man!

This might sound weird, but I can't really review Danny's set because I only saw 4 hours of it. Drove to the Docks after Armin's set and got there at about 6:45. (damn... sorry I missed you CharmScars)

The man is simply incredible. I don't even like most of the music he plays, but the way he mixes it, and his weird stage presence simply has to be seen and heard to be believed.

A bit of background: The Docks and the promoters bent over backwards to make this set something that will put The Docks on the map. Knowing that Danny T. plays as long as he feels like it is worthwhile, they installed stairs to the DJ booth for his pee breakes (they used to only have a ladder). Installed a espressom machine, built a bar for him to make energy drinks, gave him separate air conditioning so he would be cool, and ensured that he had every creature comfort he would ever need. They even bought his favourite mixer so he would feel right at home.

He arrived on Saturday (he drives) with 9 cases of vinyl, a wide arrag of samplers, tape decks, drum machines, and the million other toys the guy uses to mix his magic. Then he spent the entire day tuning the Docks system to his music.

When I was there, he played about 4 different sets. Everything from deep house to tribal. And it was a lot of fun. Having just come from Armin, I was kindqa tired, but immediately perked up and danced for another 4 hours.

Love the way the guy plays around with flashlights and stuff. Also love that he isn't afraid to turn the music off for a while and talk to you - asking you what kind of stuff you are in the mood for and telling you why he played the las set. Seems weird, but it was actually quite charming.

Slept till 7:00 and am about to go eat the first solid food I've had in about 26 hours.
