All I can say is that was one of the best parties i have ever been to.

The Docks was packed, but it was easy to find room to dance without people banging into you. The Docks sounded great. Crowd was the best part of the night, friendly, good vibe, and everyone was there to have a great time.

Danny T, what can I say. Didn't know how much I would like his set, but he has a fan for life.

I never compain about the Guvernment because I know what to expect when I go, but honestly it will be hard to go back to the crowds at the Guvernment. The Docks is an amazing space for a big party. Anyone who didn't go because it was at the Docks, you missed out.

My god, Danny is the man!

i think he played 19 hours at Stereo.

and Morales easily plays longer.

OKay here we go... still a bit shaken from last night but I'll give a review (or try to)

Callie and I arrived at 9:30pm at the docks expecting to see at least 1 TOTA in line... (we were wrong).. We entered with the first 50 people... treated ourselves to some RedBull with vodka and proceeded to the DJ booth area. Danny T comes out from the "woodworking" and decideds to bust a move on the dance platform... (accented by his finale which included lifting his sweater and rubbing his gut). With intent to start the party Callie and I join the only three people dancing, and we begin to groove as we wait for Danny to start his set. After completing his turntable test and finding out that turntable 2 is broken, he laid down his last pre-set track and decided to come down and have a chat with the fans... After a quick "hey! hows it going" Danny throws down an awesome debut to his set. As we are moved by this start to a "will-be" fabulous evening. Jeff the "floorwhore" himself, dances on up to us (Good to see ya again man... it had been awhile) As we continued we met up with more of the greatest partiers in the world (TOTA's of course) It ended up becoming a Danny T @ Boa reunion... It was good to see so many faces that I see all the time... and even better to see the ones I hadnt seen in awhile. (I apologize if I may have forgotten your name, however, I do suffer from memory loss, legitimately) The crowd was good for the most part... Except for the few Sketch-jobs here and there... and almost being puked on by some cracked out asian in the washroom. We were afraid that Jeffy had been kidnapped again when he disappeared for an hour at around midnite... but to no suprise he had just found someone else to whore it up with for awhile. It was GREAT to see you all again... Looking forward to doing it ALL OVER again

WOW:eek: Danny violated me with and endless onslaught of slammin' beats and dirty basslines...I can't believe he continued to go throughout the day! I can't imagine how sketchy it would be with whoever is left standing by 2pm(or later). Crazy.

Met up with a few of you guys outside in the parking lot while waiting for Diginut to show up with my ticket. Spent the rest of my night on my feet..dancing to the beats!

Docks was great, way better than I expected...the sound and lights were vastly improved from when I saw Johan Gielen there.

What a stage presence danny has is awesome, all the floodlights he uses with his hands to the beats, very cool. He always has some uplifting words for the crowd as well.

I left at about 0830...wish I could have stayed longer but I worked a 12 hour shift on my feet that day...and I'm back at work now..so I'm patting myself on the back for staying up and partying and keeping the spirits up till then. I didn't want to leave because he was getting into some proper house at that point.

Only down side about these parties is the cost...I mean really, with ticket, beers, and any *extras*, you can drop 100 bucks (and more) no problem. Ah well, I'm not complaining, cuz it was worth every penny.

I wasn't expecting the gay population to be so prominent. I mean, dudes licking each other's armpits, making out, stroking each other...oh well, at least they were all really nice, and I didn't get hit on this time. It sure beats pushy aggressive people. All together, the crowd was very positve and the vibe was great.

As always, it was great partying with all you TAs, you are all awesome, I love you all...Schryer and I ended up staring at that illuminated palm tree on the patio for what seemed like ages! lol, it's things like that that you always remember!

C'mon guys, grow the up, honestly. There was more hardcore, crazier @ CREAM by straight couples than the stuff I saw @ the Docks last-night.

Granted messy displays of public affection, are..well, nasty @ a certain point, but as long as it isn't in your space, who gives a ?

[set. After completing his turntable test and finding out that turntable 2 is broken,

wasn't broken

After adding the extra subs and Danny's mixer we had acoustic feedback that couldn't be eliminated quickly so we just repatched to turntable 3

What the ?!

I left at 10.30 thinking he would stop at 12.00. Knowing I missed 4.5 hours of his set has really pissed me off. He's gotta let us how long he's gonna play for :whip:

I was happy because I got to hear all 4 songs I was hoping to hear that night.

Danny Tenaglia pres. Kult of Krameria - Esperenca

Jaimy - Freedom <--- Highlight of the night for me.

In And Out of My Life (from his GU 017 CD)

and one more I can't remember.

DJ Chab - My Memory was a highlight too.

I'm also pretty sure I heard Otradnojoe - DJ Linus

Not as good as Boa (set and club), but it's still ranked up there as one of the best parties of 2004.

Lots of TAs out tonight. I'm glad a lot of you finally got to see Danny T for your first time. Not bad eh?

Another thing, kudos to the docks for a very well done event. This was definately a memorable night, and we thank you guys for going out on a limb for this one. I'll definately be giving the Docks a second chance after last night.

I still just wish I was notified at the right time that he was spinning till 3.00 :whip:

It's Danny, you should know better. The party stops, when he pulls the needle off the last record and decides to call it a night. Hey, after laying it down for 6+ hours (a marathon for most DJ's) i think you can give the man some latitude and basically take it up as a challenge to see if you can last as long as he can.

BTW. It's great hearing all the positive reviews...I missed DT again, with a sprained foot playing football the day before. But something tells me that Danny's love affair with Toronto will resume sometime in near future :)
