Yeah. I forgot to bring my 64MB Memory card so I ran out of room, and lost a 4MB card, but thankfully it was empty. I still have 2 4MB and the 64MB. I seriously need to get my own Sony digicam.
Again, thx Damon for taking the above pics on my cards. Can't wait to see his pics. |

I CANNOT wait to see all of the pics that were taken.
I had such a blast hanging with everyone, those I had already met, it was so great to see you all again...and those my first time meeting..all of you guys are so awesome. Ferry is amazing. I was definately lucky to have this show as my first. Every song blew that place up. I did not recognize many of them...but the few that I did were some of my favs..ESPECIALLY No One On Earth. I just loved the energy in that place..I could hear people around me on the dance floor commenting on that all night, just how amazing it was. Literally half the people there were TA's LOL. It was so great. I loved watching how Ferry was also having such a great time. He was all smiles the whole night...too cute. The afterparty was especially great..what a cool guy Ferry is, even though I didnt talk to him really. But, I said thank you to him for a great first show!! LOL I even got an intro lesson from Phil on how to spin. woohoo!!!
Thank you so much so Amber and Terry for picking me up. I cant wait to see him again at Space. |

I don't know how I'm conscious, but I'ma put my review NOW.
I picked up my friend in Kissimmee and hit the Crooked Bayou, where Ben and Stan were already there.
No one else had arrived yet, so we went to my car to get the TATV videocamera and record Ben stringing.
We went back and hit ICON. No one arrived still, and the club is DEAD. We decide to go back to the Bayou and run into Damon on the line. he got his bracelet and re-entry stamp and joins us in going back to the Bayou.
A little while passes: our ears suffered listening to some sleepy house crap they played at Crooked Bayou. I got the hell out to go get my memory cards. I come back and Jeff, Hope and Jeff's bro and his girl have arrived. A little while later, Maciej joins us.
Before 11:30, we all hit ICON. The club is ALIVE, and the 2nd floor is open. We ran up to take that beotch over, and we run into Amber, Colleen, and Terry. Colleen was dressed in black. :eek: :gsmile:  OMFGHI2U. A short time later, Hope gets the idea of everyone chipping in for a bottle of Moet. We do so, get a small VIP section to ourselves, and we chill. James then arrived.
Brian and Suzy arrived. Then the man of the hour arrives: Ferry. He gets into the DJ booth but not before saying hi, shaking hands, etc etc. Stan got his vinyl signed early on. :D
The set was sick. SICK. Just awesome. I was HOPING Ferry would open his set with Kyoto, just like Gatecrasher Moscow and Surface Nightclub, Ottawa. And he did. I screamed, "KYOTO!" :toothless
All great songs. The place wasn't too empty but not too packed either. It was just right, we had room to walk, dance, etc etc.
And then.
It happened.
Ferry played MY SONG. :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: By this time I had sobered up from 3 glasses of champagne, but the song hit me so hard I damn near collapsed on the dance floor. I hadn't seen Rachel and Phil arrive, but they did. Rachel hugged me; Colleen hugged me. The pain in which Force of Gravity had been associated with me had been terminated. I felt great; I sang aloud, with my awful singing voice. :wtf: But I didn't care. THAT IS MY SONG. I loved it...Oh dear LORD.
Amber & Terry: Always great seeing you guys. Thx so much for taking the pic with me.
Colleen: A dark goddess...a girl after my own heart...:p ;) Thx for the hug during my song, I really needed it.
Damon: Thx for taking the pics and good chillin' with ya. Yeah, you do add "spice" to this forum. :wtf:
Ben: OMG those stix were so bright!
Brian & Suzy: So good to see you guys make it!!!
Stan da man: You left the club early! :(
Sara: You also left early! :( The jet black hair is awesome, don't change it!
Rachel: Saw you during my song and you hugged me. Thank you. I so needed it. I'll see you at Space next month for Ferry.
Jeff & Hope: great seeing you. i didnt get your bro's name or his girls name. :o
James: Thx again for having the afterparty at your place. Congrats on having the new house!
Those ESPECIALLY missed: Harold, Paul & Alison. :(
Anyone else I may have left off: Sorry but my memory suckx. :p A great, great night. If Ferry does this on a weeknight again, you can bet I'll be there again.

Umm... I stayed till the very end. I did not go to afterparty though. How was it?
Speaking of the night, there are no words to describe it. Ferry's mixing was flawless. His track sellection was superb. He signed my vinyl, which was ing awesome. If I have time, I'll write full review later. |

The one thing I have sought after since discovering Force of Gravity is finally mine. I got dark video of the song being played live last night. I can truly say my life is more complete with this video, albeit nearly impossible to see anything, but the audio is there.

Wow, what a great time last night in O-Town. My first time hitting up Icon and I have to say, nice place, a lil small, but worth the drive from Tampa through malfunction junction on I-4. Crowd last night was small, considering it was a wed, but like some of the previous posts, the peeps knew their music, and made the vibe in the crowd high. This is my fifth time seeing Ferry, and one of his best sets compared to Space in Aug 2003, and at HOB in Nov 2003. Good seeing all of the central FLTA's, and DA, and btw I wanna make one thing clear I am a south florida TA, I am only here in Tampon temporary, so get that straight, central florida is not my neck of the woods and never will be, Fort Lauderdale-South Beach is my home, period. After party was exciting from the six car convo from Icon to James' house, who is in dying need to mow that fricken lawn of his, unbelievable, but again thank you for having us. Pics from last night I sent to Raul Rockdahouse and he will be posting in a few, but like always, never a dull moment with the TA crowd and a big time DJ, HOB, Icon, Space, Crobar, no matter we are, we are the ones that make soooo much better and continue to do soooooooooooooooooooo, till the next time!!!
