HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! Tonight was A-ING-MAZING! I'm so glad I decided to go! (Even though I got tricked by Phil!)
Right as I got there Ferry jumped on the decks and blew me away! This was my second time seeing Ferry live and he's just crazy on the decks! Holy Crap! Rachel and I were writing requests but he played mine before I even got a chance to hand him the napkin with the skribble on it (Aven - All I wanna do [YOUR RMX])!!!!!! :crazy: :crazy: :tongue3 :happy2: :wtf: :tongue2 :tongue3
He played Rock Your Body, Satisfaction, No One On Earth... and so many other tracks if I listed them all I'd never get to go to sleep!! :thepirate
It was great seeing you guys again! I hope you guys have fun with Ferry at the afterparty!!! I have classes tomorrow morning, sorry I couldn't attend. :(

I'll write a full review later.
I died so many times.
Among the songs Sara listed, Ferry busted out FORCE OF GRAVITY (DA's OMFG I diee track), Somebody, Kyoto, so much good and he even came to the after party (again)!
The track that killed me though, was my request, my 2nd faveorite trance song... Gouryella - Tenshi (Original Mix). Words cannot describe how awesome that track is... I can't believe he actually did it too, right when he started to mix it, I heard the bassline come in, and couldn't believe my ears. One of the tracks that I thought I'd never get to hear live. One of the most beautiful and classic songs I've ever heard. I heard. Live. From Ferry Corsten. This is what killed me. This is why I died the 2nd time in his set. And that is part of the reason why Ferry is my faveorite DJ.

Ferry is nothing short of amazing. I am so tired right now from driving, but I will definitely do my review later. I had such a good time with all of you. You guys are wonderful. :D
Surprise of the night...Noel Sanger. :eek: Noel...it was so nice seeing you. Imagine my surprise when we were standing upstairs with Ferry and you turned around and I realized it was you. I'm so glad that you saw my sig advertising Ferry's show and made a point to come out. I just wish that I would have seen you earlier in the night. Either way it was wonderful seeing you. ;) |

Im gonna see if I can't get Ferry to do a Karaoke Afterparty.. I you not that you can sing the Ligaya vocal mix in Karaoke bars across the country.
Bushido - You should see what happens when ferry plays tenshi in Japan. Last time I saw it, he help up the record which has the kanji for tenshi on it, and everyone just went ing nuts... one of my alltime favorite moments. Ferry can kill you at anytime, just like he did when he threw down Ligaya/Carte Blanche back to back in Miami in Jan.
There should be no doubt, without question, that Ferry is the best DJ on the planet. People on the board complain about Tiesto having an off night, PvD playing too hard.... no one ever complains about Ferry. He is not only the most down to earth superstar dj on the planet, but i have yet to hear a ty set from him. He loves to DJ and you feel it every second he is in the room. |

Wow, Deftones and Ferry in one night can't get much better.
What time did Ferry take stage, I got there right around 12:10 and he was already on, and I stayed untill around 2:20. I had a blast, can't wait to see him again. Would of been nice if PVD wasn't canceled here in Jax, Friday. :( |

| hmmm lookin at the tracklisting ferry seems to have played the same tracks he always plays. i wont bash him but damn get some new stuff. the only time he has blown me away was the 3rd and last time i saw him at space this year. he played more techish type stuff it was fantastic |

ive noticed this too bling, i like ferry and all but his sets dont change much month to month, and he always plays way to much of his own productions, at least when ive seen him in any other venue outside of space, but i guess the same can be said about alot of djs. nonetheless im looking forward to his set at space on nov 12th!:crazy: :eyespop: :tongue2 glad everybody had fun at icon and afterparty. |

dont you guys worry... Ferry's apparently got some stuff in the bag for Space;)
last night was so damn awesome and this was my first time officially meeting and hanging out with Ferry-- he's hilarious! ive got an exam to take soon but Ill review later! |
