Absolutly AWESOME show last night. Ferry really brought it and brought it hard. the vibe at Icon was great, it was the perfect size crowd for the club. plenty of people on the dance floor but not too packed that you couldnt dance. thanks to whoever arranged VIP for us! tracks i remember:

and he closed with Punk which was awesome considering the energy of the club.
it was great to see everyone! all the orlando TAs: Sara, Rach, James, Ben, Stan, Jamie and friend whose name i never remember, Jeff, Hope and Jeff's bro and gf. great to see a good turnout from the tampa peeps: Amber, Damon, Maciej, Suzy and Brian, and it was great meeting Coleen for the first time. DA representing south florida solo. RzO and Kelly, allways a great time seeing you guys, thanks for representing G-ville since greg and cyn decided to punk out. um, i think that is everyone.
i can't beleive we pulled off The Ferry Afterparty 2.0. thanks to suzy for talking ferry into partying with us. definintly better having it at james' house than at a hotel lol. thanks bro for being a great host! i hope everyone kept up ok with rachel's crazy ass leading the pack on the way over there.
overall it was an amazing night. one of the best events we've had in orlando in a while! |

And yea, I represented the SoFL solo, even tho Damon is from down here, he didn't drive 4 hours to be up there!
Was really cool chilling with you, bro. Must do it more often!!! I hope you're coming down for 11/12 at Space! |

I was the first TA on the scene. I figured, I'm kinda late to most things, so I wanted to show up earily for this. Seems as though 9 is way to earily, I waited around for half an hour-hour til I see Stan show up. BTW Stan, I totally forgot that website your shows going to be on. Please give everyone the info, I want to hear some trainwrecks! :stongue: We talk for a good half an hour-hour and we see DA and his friend walk up. Sorry DA, I forgot his name :p. We all walk to DA's car, to make a stringing video for the site in my sig. Thanks for the vid DA! I really apperciate it ;).
After the vid, we all go to Icon, but as DA said the place was empty, so I took that time to go back to my car and change (I <3 my budda shirt :p). I came back to Icon, still no action. After that the four of us went back to CB, but we ran into Dameon on the way. He got his wrist band and we chilled at CB for awhile. Around 10:30 or so Jeff and Hope come in along with his brother and his girl. I didn't get your names, sorry, but I'll make sure to say hi next time I see you guys ;) and eventually KozOk made his entrance as well. We hung out at CB for awhile, but then it was time to hit up the club.
At the club, we find more of the Tampa TA's, Amber, Colleen, and Terry Bones, and a little later Lil-B, and Suzy Solar. It was great seeing everyone. It's been way too long! Like what two months? :p Hope to see everyone for Sander again ;). The club had hardly anyone there, and it wouldn't be for the whole night. Icon didn't get full, the whole night. Which was ok for me, but in retrospect, I'm wondering how Icon felt about it. Since that's mostly what they bring these kick ass DJ's for, and the act before Ferry (Seb) didn't work out too well.
Ferry is awesome, not only an awesome producer and DJ, but the guy is so down to earth, it's like he was never a big celebrity, another face in the crowd. I liked it when we TA Swamped him at the entrance, that was too funny! I was really nervous when I asked him to play Tenshi, I was like 'uh do you like take request', he replied 'yea sure what do you want to hear' and I felt a little foolish requesting an old school song, that was more recongized for Transa's remix, but he said 'I have that with me.' I thanked him, and went on my way. On my way, I saw a tall and dark figure. And BAM there was Sara! I was like :eek: :eek:. Phil, damn that hat is the ! Then I in the VIP, I look down. I see Rachel! :D
He started his set with Kyoto, a great track to open with, and everyone knows what he played already. He kept me on the dance floor, about 99% of the time. If I wasn't dancing, I was back at the VIP resting. The dance floor was open because not many people were there, that was cool because I really need to let loose, wesnday I had a lab practical which I didn't do particularly well but I still past. Dancing with everyone was great, us TA's control that dance floor like no one else we're always front and center when ever there's a show, always where the DJ's can see us, and I love how Ferry didn't have secuirty, and how he wanted his picture taken and didn't really care if you were up at the booth cheering him on that didn't effect his DJing one bit. I've said it before and I'll say it again, and it will always be true. FERRY IS THE ING MAN!!!!!!!!!
The afterparty was mostly chill and take pictures and BS time, which was good because 1. Seeing TA's in some light was good for a change, and 2. I was dead tired. 3. BSing is so much fun. I was sprawled out in the floor, just chillin. And Terry took my seat. :p
I had so much fun wesnday, I really wanted to write more but I'm still sore from dancing all night. Shout outs.
Stan: Dude, you've got to play Halcyon I don't care how hard it is to mix. Hell crossfade that I don't care play it at the next party biatch! :p Nice talking to you, and let us all know about your radio show.
DarkAngel: Thanks for making the show, and filming my video. I'm glad you heard FOG, went I first noticed the song I was like, holy it's FOG where is he! LOL! And sorry I forgot the name of your friend, I forgot a lot of things that night.
Damon: Thanks for taking the pictures, Mr.Red Bull is certainly a great nickname for you. :p
Jeff and Hope: Great seeing you two again! Sorry I didn't get to introduce myself to your brother, Jeff. I promise I will, next time I see him :p. I hope to see you guys at Hybrid and/or Sander!
KozOk: Happy b-day again, good to see you in attendance ;). I'm glad you got to meet Ferry, since you were at the after party last year and you left before he got there.
James: Thanks James for hosting the afterparty ;), there won't ever be enough graditute for that.
Colleen: Lookin' sexy in all black *drools*, what a party for your first time out of town huh? :p Now aren't you glad you took time off of work? :D I'll see you and the rest of the Tampa TA's hopefully soon!
Amber and Terry: It was great partying with you two! Always on the dance floor as well! :p Terry is too funny :haha:
Brian and Suzy: You guys are always fun to party with! Suzy is a trip! LOL!
Max: Nice to meet you sir! And your drink was good LOL :p! You missed out on the after party man.
Sara: Damn, you keep on surprising me. Showing up @ the amp out of nowhere, now showing up @ Icon after you said you wouldn't go and Stan said that you wouldn't go either. One of these times you're going to give me a heart attack!

FLTA Trooper? Hell no. FLTA COMMANDER! was too good, organizing that big ass get together WITH NO ONE GETTING LOST! That was a golden moment, the TA/Ferry Convoy. :p
Rachel: It's always a pleasure partying with you :D, we owned that dance floor! Thank you for that much needed Red Bull and Volka. My thurst was gone the whole night.
Ferry Corsten: If you read this. I thought it was pretty much impossible to throw down a better set than last year, yet you've outdone yourself, and you continue to do so. I really hope you get first in the 100 DJ count down, you very much deserve it. And I can't thank you enough for throwing down Tenshi. I'm sure you've got enough of that when I saw you in person. Hope to see you in Miami @ Space.
Sorry for that long ass review, I originally planned it to be longer, but I thought why wait!
I hope to see everyone in Miami for his next Florida show

Hi Vero, no problem... it's my pleasure;-)It took a little bit of coaxing to get him to go because he was tired from being in South America and he had an early flight out. I'm really happy to have Ferr come out again to hang with the TAs. He's one of my favorite people in the world. We always have the best of times when he comes to Florida, and I can hardly wait for the November show.
Hope & Jeff: Thanks for driving Ferr. Lil' B and I didn't really know where we were going and felt better that he went with a local.
Amber & Terry: It's great to hang with you guys again, keep in touch ok?
