Yeah, I'm not really impressed with Ray Junior and his promotion team. I don't think anyone is at the moment. I find it funny how the venue change was announced, yet the cancellation of their major headliner, and probably the number one reason people were going to this party, was kept a secret.
That's enough right there for pretty much everyone to boycott this event. I'm not speaking for every single person who is going, but just echoing some of the thoughts of people I've spoken to who were planning on going. |

Ce n'est pas la première fois à vie qu'un organisateur perd une salle et doit y aller de modifications pour pouvoir présentez l'événements quand-même. Mais c'est Ray Junior alors il FAUT absolument que les gens chiâle 1000 fois plus. Mais où est passé l'appui pour G. O'Brien, Wizz, M. Ravemontreal Creator et tous les autres locaux qui se prépare depuis des semaines pour offrir ce qu'ils ont de mieux au jour de l'an?????
Ceci dit, APOCALYPSE à bel et bien lieu. Le changement en fait débander quelques uns et ça fait plaisir à d'autres. L'annulation de Thrillseekers fait mal, mais il est remplacé. Il dit aussi qu'il espère venir à Montréal et il viendra c'est certain. Avec tous les bons DJ trance que Ray Junior a fait venir ces dernière année (Binary Finary, Push, Airwave, Micro, Space Girl, etc) ça ne lui fait probablement pas plus plaisir à lui qu'à nous.

When you look at it, $35 is a pretty good deal for a NYE party with a line-up of that includes Wizz, O'Brien, Voiz.
I think people are more-so dissappointed in the fact that they were expecting The Thrillseekers included in the price. I still think it's a good deal without the Thrillseekers.
I heard Wizz a few times, and O'Brien once briefly. I know they drop sick ch00ns.

Yes, but we get a trance night in Ottawa like 4 times a year. And even then, where else can you find trance on NYE?

im glad to see some positive thoughts =)
we will not disapoint the trance fans for sure.
as far as im concerned, i will be playing some hot fresh vascotia tracks, along with some unreleased digital delinquents, andy baggueley, menno de jong, octagen and more..
if you like uplifting driving tunes, then you will be served :)

to DJ Voiz and DJ Wizz, im really sorry that ray junior productions did a poor job and scared away many people, i was really looking forward to seeing you guys.
i saw dj wizz spin after infected mushroom in august and really impressed me and i was looking forward to seeing him again.
and i also have a set by voiz which impressed me.
i hope that in the near future there is an event that ill have the pleasure of seeing you guys do your thing (come to toronto please!), but as for now i dont want anything to have to do with ray junior productions and my plans for new years have changed.
this was very dissapointing indeed. |

| Yeah, basically, I feel sorry for the other DJs, but I'm not going to go to Montreal. I can't see myself supporting the promotors after this disappointment. :nervous: |

If I was living in Montreal, I would most likely still go to the event. I know Wizz & Voiz will tear the place apart, but I will have to pass it up this time, and wait for the next.
I really doubt Ill be attending any more Ray Junior parties in the future. |

this kind of reaction is legitimate and i respect that you wouldnt support someone that you lost your faith in.
hopefully Ray will have some explanations for his clients. I have been playing a few times in the past for him and it always went well so as far as im concerned, i have nothing but good things to say about this promoter.
There must be a serious reason that made him take this non-popular decision. |

thanks for your kind invite fella. Unfortuanately, I receieved an email from the promoter telling me the gig has had to be cancelled due to problems with the venue. I've heard no word from them in recent days about plans to use a new venue, so I presume they're going ahead without me.

| so basicly, Ray Junoir lost the venue, this new venue is smaller, so since he figure it would be a fire hazard, cancelled the main act since he was expecting to fit in alot less ppl in the new venue. |
