Last year, after 3 straight years of Celebration, I decided to go to Apocalypse. Now I don't want to bash this thread or anything but I was kind of dissapointed :( and I want people to know what Ray Junior productions are like....
The reason I went was because it was a "trance" event versus Celebrations' "house" event. The music was ok, but man...everyone was like 17 years old. I never realized, until then, how much of an effect the crowd has on you!!
Also the venue was pretty crap IMO. It was some gym of a cegep or high school or something....and... THERE WERE WINDOWS IN THE MAIN ROOM!!!!! At 6:30 AM the main room started filling up with sunlight....talk about a downer:(
Even if Celebration had a line-up this year (which they don't) I would still go just for the venue, atmosphere and THE CROWD...people my age, 23 :) and HOT GIRLS :eyes: :eyes: |

i did the past 2 apocalypse. the first one being a trance head, and the second one being into house.
its a great event
school gym or not. its a rave, the trance crowd is younger, thats known.
the sound last year was bad, like headache bad. but i had a blast the past 2 nyes.
this year im taking nye to spend some time wit my friends, smoke some joints and have a good cozy time |

meh, I would go see the Thrillseekers in any venue with any type of crowd. Im going there for the MUSIC.
Its about time someone in Montreal had the balls to book some new trance talent instead of getting the same 3 DJs time and time again. |
