Good plan. I'm glad you learned your lesson. It must suck being so uncreative and boring that this is what you're reduced to. But look on the bright side of things: at least nobody expects anything of you. At this point, all you'd have to do is say something slightly intelligent and everyone would be so proud of your accomplishment.

Thanks for all the advice. But enough about me. Let's talk more about you and all those online communities you rule. I imagine such a powerful internet ruler as yourself has lots of internet girlfriends. At least you've got that going for you. |

What the hell is the matter with you people?
This guy come on here to confide in his fellow TA's something very personal and serious going on in his life. He wanted to get some help and advice, and instead you give him grief, and mock him?
What kind of people are you? Has society stooped to a new low that when a person reaches out to others, they get pointed to and laughed at?
What happened to a sense of compassion and understanding? What happened to being respectful and kind?
Are you so corrupt that other people's sorrows and pain is humorous to you? Do you get joy from another person's suffering?
You people need to get some help. You're the s that we don't need around, and you're the reason why there is so much hatred and distrust!

I am sorry that this is happening to you. I can understand how you would feel that you are in the middle of things, but the only thing you can really do is try and stay out of it, no matter how hard that may seem.
They are going to do what they want to do, and if you choose to get involved, it will only put more stress on you, and your relationship with both parents.
Don't choose sides. You want to keep good ties with both parents, even if one seems to be acting more like an than the other. They are your parents, they wouldn't turn against you, so don't do it to one of them.

D-Res... We are in the exact same situation. Only this has been going on in my family for about 10 + years. My parents 21st wedding anniversary just passed... Just like any other day though... It's brutal.
Do your parents fight a lot? Mine do. My dad will intentionally piss her off so she'll leave (which mind you is better). |
