Well, this certainly was an event that TOTAs dominated for the entire evening.
Dan, I love you.
Thinking that there would be a massive line-up as far as guest list went, I arrived at about 22:30, to one person in the line. Got in, immediately met up with my precious... She was hiding from her ex, I did my best to protect her. Neeta! Great finally meeting you. RJ, you lived up to legend. Nat, too bad you couldn't stay longer.
Matt. Amazing performance. I really need to talk to you about a residency spot on ETN. I was blown away by your contribution to the evening.
James. What can I say... You've grown as an artist since I saw you last at System last year on Dec. 12th, and I respect that immensely. Thank you for the photograph (LKD, email that to me pronto! :D ). You've proven your weight in gold.
Overall, a great evening of massive tunes (Nathan Fake!!!)... I had a great time with the TOTA crew. Mike and Jenna, Frank, (non-Irish) Graham, Neeta, etc. etc. Take care of yourselves.

I got there around 11ish. Thx John for the list. I was tired as hell but managed to work up the energy for James' last 1.5 hours and was rockin' it like no tommorrow. He definitely played good tunes - some I recognized from the Balance 005 CD set I think. I spent a bit of time in the front room too before Holden and enjoyed the DJ's set there too.

Last night, being my first time at System. It did not disappoint. I don't know how some of you can do three parties in a row.

Had a blast in the front room, stayed in there and didn't even bother going to the main room, Matt rocked it!

Same here, no problems at the line up, got right in...haven't been to systems in a long time. The set was ok, nice trance parts, but J.H. mixed in too much techno in my opinion, but...still enjoyed it.
Liam, were u there? I couldn't find u! .....Sure u were there? ;-)

It truly is about the ppl you are with to make a night as good as it was!
James' set kept me kickin in full effect for the whole night but it was everybody else who kept me goin till near the end...
Massive amounts of ta's in effect last night, great turn out! surprised i lasted as long as i did considering the triples i was getting served at another bar before hand :S great to see so many ppl I hadnt seen in ages! Ryan, (remember we're doin lunch, have to go for drinks with MIke also. Btw, what happened to Seamus???) Sarah! was a shock to see you, sorry we didnt get to hang out a bit more :( To the new ppl I met.....:tongue3 uh huh! Thanx to John for guestlist, thanks to Aren for the drive home, Thanks to everybody for great company! |

Great to see alot of familiar faces once again, jason, nat, sean, peter, emry, aaron, liam, christina, maxQ and oooooooooh soo many i dont remember but it was gerat to see you all

Started off the night on an unpleasent note: Left a bit too late, forgot a few things I was supposed to give to people at the club. Got there at 11.05. It was me, and a group of girls in line. The girls in front of me got in free, I didn't. Nice way to be treated coming back to System for the first time in a while. :o Oh well,I didn't let it ruin my night.
Matt was awesome. I stayed in the front room for most of the night listening to his set. I'll be coming back to listen to his sets more often. Caught a bit of Holden, but he really wasn't doing it for me.
It was nice to see so many TAs. It was even nicer to see all the girls there that night :eek: . Anyone else notice this but me?
All in all a great event. |
