Don't get me wrong, I'll be the first to admit Nash and O'Neal both make their teams better, but no one wins games single-handedly like Iverson. Put a bunch of muppets out on the floor and Iverson will still bring home some wins.

I wasn't putting his stats to show how good he was individually, was just putting them because the person before me asked about them...I think Nash means more to his team because with him they win, without him they lose. The sixers well they are mediocre with iverson and horrible without him.
Hanki
DAMN! Sixers lost a game against Nets and the battle for the playoff spots still remains till the end of the season...

these are the obvious stats that he should be in mvp ..

then again, i think the nba mvp voters committee pick the guy by scoring some kind of point system, where they give some amount of quality points for each stat ... oh no .. here comes that computer rankings computing and bcs talk all over again ... :nervous: :nervous: .. and it's only april .. college footbal doesnt start until august .. :wtf:

please dont mention that 3 letter word or bull of a college sport again

some of you guys are making it seem like its just AI on that team, the sixers have a solid team that hasnt lived up to its full potential, maybe AI hasnt made his team better? got a good big man in Dalembert,a star in Webber,Iguodala ,one of the best rookies, and a great shooter in Korver, and they still havnt clinchhed a playoff spot?A true MVP not only does well for himself, but makes the team around him better.
see my custom user text for example

edit:sixers clinched spot 2night

You obviously haven't watched much of the Sixers since O'Brien came. Except for when Webber was hurt, Dalembert's playing time is extremely limited, Webber will never be a star again after his plethora of injuries (he is consistently losing rebounds to guys 5-6 inches smaller than him, he can't jump; this coming from one of Webber's biggest fans, but I've succumbed to reality), Iguodala is a defensive prodigy, but all of his scoring is due to Iverson and usually through fast breaks. All of Korver's points are because of AI, too. Crash the lane, dish it out to the line; rinse and repeat.

AI has made the team as good as it can possibly be this year, and they will continue to be a mediocre team as long as O'Brien is running the show. If only they would have waited one more year, Cheeks would have been available.

It will be interesting to see how they do in the Playoffs. Hopefully they won't be out before my Finals are over. :wtf:

Ufff Sixers in the Playoffs! :D

But it's gonna be a great fight between Nets and Cavs for the final spot!

In the last 10 years the league MVP has never come from a team outside of the top 3. Looks like Nash or Shaq for MVP then!
TigerClaw
It is official, The Heat will play against the Nets on Sunday durring the playoffs, The Heat will crush them since Shaq will return. :D

Omegasox
Pacers won, now the Sixers have to play the Pistons. Looks like they'll be out before my finals are over. :(
