actually I heard Shaq might miss game 1
I was seeing the Suns game 2night and they interviewed Nash and they asked him who should be MVP and he said Shaq, humble answer from a humble guy but he knows what he's talkin bout.
man the Cavs really choked huh, Kobe like any other team needs a good big guy, he knows it was a mistake what he did to shaq, maybe with what happened this year he'll change his ways

The Cavs choked -- classic! It's official: Cleveland sports really suck.

Does anyone else find it hilarious that Boston didn't play Pierce or Walker much late in the game? Because I'm surrounded by Cavs fans here at school, and they didn't find it very funny at all. hehe. But the Timberwolves didn't make it either

I think the suprise of this years playoffs is going to be the Rockets. I really like Van Gundy so this is why Im saying this.

Also the Heat and Nets series will go down to the wire. Nice matchup Wade vs Kidd!

Can't fault them for it, though. They would have done the same thing even if they were playing a team that had no hope for the playoffs. They rested them against the Cavs the game before, so they have no room to bitch.

also with the report that richard jefferson is coming back for the playoffs .. :wtf: ..

there is no definate timetable when he's coming back, but reports say he is going to be ready for the playoffs .. the nets should provide the heat more than they can handle .. i hope new jersey plays smart and uses travis best wisely giving jason kidd the much desired rest during the game, so kidd can play the critical moments in the fourth quarter ..

So, it's about time to start Playoffs 2005. Sixers against Pistons, what a great challenge IMO! Iverson vs. Brown... ;)

IT WILL BE THE HEAT VERSUS THE SUNS IN THE FINALS, BOOK IT. Even though the Nets are my favorite team, they just have no answer for Shaq.

+1

Or maybe Heat vs. Spurs, but I hope that Suns will beat everyone in the West. :)

wow...game 2 between the rockets and the mavs was one of the best NBA games i've ever seen :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyes: :tongue3

hell yeah it was. i'm surprised this thread hardly even talks about the rockets. i've read this whole thread.. and maybe twice or so have they been mentioned.

what a game the rockets-mavs was .. t-mac of course was awesome .. really showing his true superstar self .. when you are the star, take the shot .. (well technically, they have two stars .. yao and t-mac) .. what a combo ..

and i haven't noticed this until just now, but yao has really upped his game by 200% since last year .. i can't remember when yao was scrapping for balls, muscling in for rebounds and paint territory for the better percentage shot, altering more balls .. etc .. he is really starting to make a prescence for himself .. he knows that he is a great free throw shooter (awesome to be exact) .. what other big men can almost shoot 80% on the line, and make a prescence on the field ???

yao's got my respect now .. i thought he was too small to be a big man in the league, but i am wrong now .. kudos to none other than patrick ewing to show him the ways how to be the "big man" on the team ..

also, want to mention mr. finger waving himself dikembe mutombo is making a big difference for the rockets on the bench .. he by far imo is the most important entity for the rockets bench, because he creates defense for them .. i like jon barry and mike james, but dikembe has been awesome on the boards .. (and where did he get this winning attitude .. you don't pick that stuff up in congo (zaire) africa .. :wtf: )

yeah we'll see how McGrady plays after he faces a bit of adversity and the family trait of not trying kicks in.Yeah i am a bitter magic fan
