Nah, you don't. It would get tired quickly.
Instead, how about a fusion of his current imposing bee-swarm anthems with the melodic past? Throw in a bit of techno and you've got something special.
Or maybe I'm just wistfully listening to VDM - No Hesitation. :p |

You should have seen him tonight. Especially the latter half of his set. Would have blown you away. |

Maybe if we put Tiesto in a box and send him to Antartica...
Maybe he'll come to his senses....
Tiesto was at his best from 1998 'till 2000.... |

Well, the fact that he has won an award like that must mean that most people still like him...
I mean, he has been around for about 8 or 10 years or so, and he is still the most popular dj in the world.
I also like his old style better, but times are changing, and so is Tiesto. |

yeh, but i bet more people like flip and fill or ian van dahl, what does that say then?
the boundires of the dj mags credibility is moving more towards the commercial domain, i mean how high was ATB this year compare dto last year? i bet dj jean will start climbing soon as everyone is getting in on the act, and the fact tiesto is still top shows he is still moving more and more into the $$ side of the music along wit hthe dj mag list itself. maybe its hard to understand what point im making, but thats whats happening and eventually the dj mag poll will get so commercialised it will be just like another MTV dance award... |

Everything is getting more and more commercial, get used to it, because you won't be able to stop it.
My parents even know who Tiesto is, and that says a lot.
There could be more people who like Ian van Dahl, but Tiesto is still #1 on the list. |

get used to it? i'd rather die. id rather enjoy the music and wtach dj's with talent who spin good tunes in a smaller club rather than spend £50 on a ticket to see some pop act in a stadium. the fact its getting more and more commercial is just showing the split between the underground and the more comemrcial side. it used to be a case that there wasnt much difference, but over the past 5 or 6 years its got bigger and bigger, and seperated the people who just love the music and those who see it as an oppertuinty to make big bucks.

yeh and your missing my point, the list is getting more and more pointless to dance music, liek the mtv dance awards or some other stupid cheesy award like that. the fact that tiesto is staying number one means he is turning more and more into a product. eventually it will get to a stage, probably very soon, where tiesto is releasing albums of vocals trance every quarter and only spinning in stadiums by himself, just like a pop act. |
