Totally agree Magicbas, but It helps 100% when reviewing the mix to scrutinze the mix for beat and melodic errors.
And, as i'm the only judge upto now, I think it's quite an easy ask! |

| Is this just for software DJs? I would have thought this would be CD/Vinyl competition only. let me know. |

This one is an MP3 mixing comp only.
No CD/Vinyl at all. Ithink there is comps for that in other months :) |

Say what? I've always thought of FS as "old-school" -- like the package says :D Anywho, can I get any clarification on what "mp3 DJs" are? Or do? Rather, use? For example:
| quote: | 1. You may mix with Mp3s in Real Time (Traktor was the most used for the last one).
2. All mixes must be recorded live, no using multiple mixes and sticking the best transitions together. |
You've lost me with the "may" part in the first one, and the plural "mixes" in the second part. I've got tables, plastic (I'll do FS if those are the rules though), and a funky set ready to spin, so: let me know mate!
Oh, and can I change the name reg'd to just "Austin H"? The decisions are too much to handle right now :P |

Do you wanna use FS? Cuz it's not allowed. |

Damn, I totally blanked out on the fact that Traktor and Traktor FS are ... ahh ... different pieces of software :P Basically, this isn't one for the turn-table junkies -- eh? |

| So could someone explain to me (honestly, I've read the rules atleast ten times now) what exactly this competition entails? I can't believe how confused I've gotten! :P |
