the answer is simple. putting god above ure own family is:
-selfish (ure looking out for ureself so god likes u when entering heaven)
-hypocritical (ure supposed to love others, id rather die for my family than for some made-up non-existent figure from thousands of years ago. arent humans smarter than this? beleiving in a friggin MYTH?) |

| why don't all of you people who don't believe in god shut the up and respect other people's beliefs for crying out loud. you are so obnoxious and hipocritcial yourselves, always bitching that christians, etc... push their views on people. well look at you guys! every chance you get, you have to throw your two cents in that no body gives a rats ass about. you could learn a thing or two about the basic fundamentals of christianity (or religion in general), like respect, and love and forgiveness and just being a good person and keeping your mouth shut if you dont have anything nice to say. oh wait your mommy should have taught you that, sorry:p well shame on her. |

| you're right, you probably do know more, because i'm not a diehard religous person by any means and i have yet to take any religion classes, but i'm pretty spiritual and i was raised catholic and i think that the basics of religion teach you to be a good person, and do good in this world, so like i said, just put a sock in it if all you are going to do is criticize it. ironically, you don't see too many religious people on these boards going on and ON and ON AND ON about THEIR views...it's always the ones preaching science and evolution. faith is something that comes from within a person and from their heart, it's a feeling, sort of like love, so if you have a problem with it, fine, but quit arguing that it's the WRONG way of life, or that it doesn't exist. it just doesn't exist in you, and that's your own deal so off. |
