Nice. My Dads got a S500 that he lets me drive, got the 19" AMG alloys on it so it looks pretty smart. Not quite the same style and kudos amongst friends as an SL but alright nonetheless |

An S has more cachet than an SL imo, a fun thing to do when driving an S is to recline the seat, roll the windows down, wear a baseball cap and tilt it at an angle and then drive slowly while playing 'dutty' beats. :thepirate But given my friend's new found penchant for hyperbole the SL is great. |

| SL's aren't worth what they go for. my bf's has been in the shop 3 times since he got it (04) and the service at the benz place here sucks too. i think it's worth maybe 70k. not so much the handling or the engine parts, but all the little gagets on the inside keep screwing up. glove box wouldn't close, trunk opener doesn't click it open...that sorta stuff. s500, i've never been in one, but i'd take the audi A8 over it any day:) |

| very nice! i also like the BMW 745Li, so it'd be a toss up between that and the A8. i've driven the 745, but never been in an A8. i've heard really good things about audis. i have a VW passat, and i know VW owns audi, and the pasat and A4 are similar...the audi is obviously more expensive and has more luxury components and power, but the passat is a pretty nice car, i love mine. it's used, but it still looks and runs great. |
