no ? just because other people do it, it doesn't make it right.

But this plays records!! Key word plays NOT mix. He's not an athelete. He doesn't a singer. He's a 33 yr. old jukebox.

He plays a record + jumps around waving his arms in the air. :stongue: But he didn't do !!

I guess when people realize they can do the same 99% of their fav. dj's do they will realize the stupidity in all of this. Hopefully.

Why aren't you selling out stadiums and venues everywhere you go? He obviously did something! From a production and influential standpoint you can almost say he's done as much as Oakey for the scene. You can't deny that. You're a very ignorant person I might add. ;) God, these threads are so stupid. You kids need to grow up.

i could care less if they get 100k for a show as long as they spin a wicked ing set. what pisses me off is when they get that much, and then look like they're gonna fall asleep behind the decks. when tiesto spun in calgary at the whiskey, i think he left his last record on the decks because he was trying to bounce out the back door so fast. no love

That's not really fair. He might be a bloated popstar diva nowadays who doesn't give two s about mixing, but he still worked to get where he is nowadays. It's not like he just burst into stardom cos of some rich uncle.

Making money and being popular is not really the standard I use to access if the music is good or if a DJ is good. I listen to music not follow hype.

Hardly... but if i was earning megabucks for standing around playing records then i would feel just a tad ing guilty.

And I'm not just having a go at djs - this goes for anyone else who is earning ridiculous amounts of money.
