Think about the children and the apathetic.

Well I suppose if we are getting technical it should really read "47% of americans 47% of americans who voted, wear pinks socks, like porn, have a pet goat called One Eyed Willy, are under the age of 16, & are not religious fanatics are OK in my book.

Damn teh apathetic. Dont you people care about your country!??!! Unless they have a doctors certificate, were drunk & unbale to attend voting, only have one leg, cant read or write, and were having long kinky sex; then those people are OK in my book.

I forgot about all the kids. Gotta love the kids. :p :p

I am guilty of being anti-american. I don't like a part of the american culture, i don't like the government, i think some of its moves are absurd and overly conservative, and i'm very proud of being an european. However, i try to make an effort to realise that a big lot of people don't fall into the stereotypes, and that in america there are a lot of friendly people, just like in everywhere else. And some of those people post on this website.

What angers me the most is peoples attitudes on the soldiers on iraq. The abu gharib prison scenes where gruesome and inhumane, but why is it we all suddenly think the entire defense force over there is exactly like that? The situation is similiar to vietnam in a way. The soldiers were sent overseas under false pretences and were put there to do a job they had no say in. They have been put in harms way for basically no reason at all and people are degrading and codemning the soldiers? Thats cowardice and exactly what we DON'T need in the war.

American soldiers are disturbingly sadistic, are they

Paul Martin, but then again I'm not a student anymore.

And the one before him was Jean Chretien, who was in office for quite a long time.

Beyond that I honestly don't know who else occupied that office, unless I Google it. Canada never showed up in the history books.

1984 by George Orwell. Read it b4 Bush makes reading unpatriotic :P

The fact that bush was able to put himself in power again is b/c ppl are brainwashed by their televisions. How could our one stop source for culture not tell us everything that we need to know? americans DO NOT get the same news that the rest of the world gets. We have to seek out this news. americans that know what bush is really doing are as outraged as the rest of the world (I hope anyway).

(i.e. people are stupid and easily controlled) yep that sums it up.

Bush isn't just ing up the rest of the world either, he's ing our own country up with his domestic politics. so don't think the average american is getting anything good out of this deal.

Also, The elections were bull. Ohio was given to Bush by the Diebold company whose president was quoted as saying that he would do everything in his power to give Ohio to bush. Diebold made the super amazing high tech electronic voting machines used in some states for this election. they are so super fantasticly high tech, in fact, that there is no paper trail. hmm... curious... how can there be a recount when there's no paper trail? fyi, if Kerry would have won Ohio, he would have won the election. Our current election system is laughable.
