Yeah that could be really cool, if Nik can find some spare time that is… I think even the more experienced artists among us can learn a thing or two from Niks knowledge of breakbeat percussion.

Yeah, I can do it. Though the basic principle is pretty much the same, with the exception that almost anything goes :)

i find the hardest part to be getting the right sounds to start with.

True. Another thing is that the sounds usually tend to sound different in the mix than by themselves. So you might have the best percussion loop you've ever made but you can't make it fit in the tune...
