Correct me if I am wrong but you are saying that if "For An Angel" was released today it would be considered "cheese" LOL that is the funniest thing I've ever heard. If it was released today it would likely be song of the year or at least one of the best songs of the year. |

Oakey on the other hand always mixes at the end of each track, creating flow, lesser energy.

ya man i agree with u man...dis thread is getting more harsh by each page, first it was da battle of Tiesto and Oakie, now its PVD vs. Tiesto...u people r pathetic, u complain so much, u dont act like trance addicts, u act as soon ing clubbers! u dont seem 2 respekt and appreciate trance dat much...its good 2 critizes, but everthing has its boundaries...like who da cares wat tiesto produced or why his set is da same all da time, or if PVD's For An Angel is da best song?? 4 sakes, there's so many quality underground songs dat r so much better, there's so many talented dj's in da world, who aren't undiscovered...Oakie was underground, he raised himself 2 be a famous dj...so wat if he plays old tunes, blablabla...sometimes i think dat Tiesto and PVD is so en commercial coz every1 is talking about it all da time, critizing their performances, blablabla...SO WATS DA POINT OF GOING AND SEEING A DJ 4 TIMES AND DEN COME HERE, COMPLAIN LIKE LITTLE BITCHES....most of these people dat i see, r just in da epic/uplifting trance...everytime its da same ...always complaining about Oakie...it really EN pisses me off, when PEOPLE dont show respekt 2 some, like Oakie, who has done so much 4 where trance is right now, making it popular in da world, not only him, pioneers such as John Digweed, Carl Cox and even Nick Warren who is travelling all over asian right now! u people show no dignity of respekt and luv 4 trance and u call urselves trance addicts/luvers? |

Who plays good trance and who doesn't is pretty much 95% of what gets talked about in here, I can't see your point man. In case you haven't noticed we all love trance here, we talk about it, compare notes on it, live it, love it, breathe it, that's the whole purpose of the board. As for saying that someone is a complaining little bitch because they love a trance DJ enough to spend a massive amount of their time and money going to see them multiple times, and coming on here and talk about the parts of their set they liked and didn't like, well that's just bollocks.
And to compare Nick Warren to Oakenfold ... christ! I have limitless respect for Oakenfold and Coxy, and even Digweed although his music isn't really my scene ... but I can't see how Nick Warren travelling all over Asia exactly makes him a pioneer ... except maybe a pioneer of making so-called trance sets that are about as exciting to listen to as watching dog dry :o |

| Tiesto by far blows oakie away. I mean ....listen to his live sets...he in rocks. The only tracks that I find he repeats alot is the quest and ubik. I havn't had the privilege to see tiesto yet, but from listening to his live sets I can tell he creates massive energy and lets not forget his producing skill!!! |
