During conversation on the wagon:

R.E.F.: Excuse me, conductor, where does this wagon lead?
Conductor_Orbital32: Why, it leads to the Cheese Factory, of course..."

your sarcasm is only cute and funny to you.

you can talk to orbital32 all you want but it wont do any good because th kid knows his and put you to rest several times on this thread.

" And whoever thought the resident DJs played well on Friday: What in the BLOODY hell were you thinking? They have no skills whatsoever! It's just anthem after anthem, no variety, nor mixing ability. TCH should bring resident's like Anthony Ross, or Magic Helmet to the table (DJs who take their passion seriously, and know what they're doing), unlike those who play mind-game politics and cater to the promoters to acquire gigs. (Very shameful and dishonorable, on the club's behalf.) Moreover, I was extremely disappointed with Heaven; I expected much more."

------ > Well, I guess I will finally briefly comment on your post...

First of all, you don't even know me. You have no right to make judgements on me.

How dare you try to tell me that I don't take my passion seriously and that I dont know what I am doing...

Passion? You have no idea about passion obviously.

I have over 2500 vinyls in my collection alone not to mention the tracks I have acquired on CD-R.

I spend my weekly paycheck on records.

I dropped 5 G's on the DJ set up on the stage for the club.. why? because we didnt have a decent one. I definitely could have spent that money on something else, but I am passionate about this club so I did it.

Could we have counted on your passion for this?

and I'm sorry... anthems?? could you please specify?
because I didn't play a set of anthems and from what I recall neither did Victor.

no mixing ability? well, none of us are perfect DJs last time I checked... but where could we check out your beautiful mixing abilities?
I would love to hear, maybe resident djs all over the world could learn something from you...

Last time I checked DJing wasn't about perfect mixing, its about solid mixing, track selection and stage performance. From the feedback on the forums and the look of the crowd that night, it seemed as though everyone except you was having a good time and enjoying what each DJ of the night had to bring to the table.

And about EQing the place. If your so upset about it then why don't you stop bitching and start contributing and do something about it?

If you arent going to do anything about it then dont complain all day... we don't need to hear that.

What we do need to hear is constructive criticism and suggestions.

And we are always open to that, DaveT can verify as well as many others.

BUT, we cannot do everything at once..

Instead of picking the club apart why don't you try to look at the bright side of things and the improvements we have made?
OR, just don't come to our club at all if you aren't happy.

You have no idea how much work it takes for us to make that club happen every week, even when its a "off week" or a "slow week"

Leon and I each work on the club at LEAST 60 hours a week, if not more( and realize, this is on top of our regular jobs and daily life.). Not to mention the time that Jesse, Varun, Edwin and the rest of our team put in.

And again, you want to tell me about passion??

We are out there every week hitting the pavement, the internet, getting the word out. Negotiating deals so that we can try and bring the best trance producers and djs in the world out here.

And you want to try and say we are "followers"??

That was ridiculous.

We are the ONLY CLUB in the U.S. that is doing what we are doing... that's a fact.

"Somebody had to say it.. and I guess it just had to be me.

P.S. Roc Project feat. Tina Arena - Never (Filterheadz "Luv Tina" remix) kicked my ass!"

-no, no one HAD to say it, and it didn't HAVE to be you. YOU just wanted to be that guy, not sure for what reason but...

I guess we know what you are passionate about, being an unsupportive jerk
(very "shameful and dishonorable" on your behalf.)

i'm done.

if you can tranfer the files i can upload them to a site

I totally guessed it was Norefjell 2004, because it sounds like a complete update of the original. The melody was an instant refresher.

With regards to the masses, I meant no disrespect.. I don't want to impose my so-called 'elitist' views on anyone... you can LISTEN to whatever you want. If singing along to Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera tickles your fancy while you're in the shower, or listening to 'Traffic' while you're jammed in 405 rush-hour helps give you pleasure, then by all means, be my guest. Hell, I'm still a big sucker for ATB.. I'd say he's still along the lines of being one of my favorite producers. So, in summation, sorry for my distasteful and somewhat ambiguous comments, and go on with your lives.

With respect to Johan's performance last Friday:
It was extremely sub-par, in MY opinion. One of the most average performances I have seen thus far in the year. TCH's sound was an unusual let-down as well. (I think a few people have noted this already: Me, Noree, LRCN, Jethro, and DaveT. Please get the place EQ'd, I'm begging you, Leon.) And whoever thought the resident DJs played well on Friday: What in the BLOODY hell were you thinking? They have no skills whatsoever! It's just anthem after anthem, no variety, nor mixing ability. TCH should bring resident's like Anthony Ross, or Magic Helmet to the table (DJs who take their passion seriously, and know what they're doing), unlike those who play mind-game politics and cater to the promoters to acquire gigs. im new to the ta boards but i was at TCH on fri and i thought it was one of the best nights there.

it seemed like everyone else liked the nigiht too.

i brought friends fromt he east coast and they we so happy cuz no clubs or parties over there bring these djs.

but this was not the only good night in tch history, i wast here for motorcycle which was packed even more than johan. i was also there when ian van dahl and lasgo played, again it ws packed.

there have been a couple other packed nights aside from those mentioned as well.

i thinik they are doing a good job and that tehy are builing their crowd. rome wasnt built in a day, neither was spundae, gatecrasher or ibiza.

and i dont know what drugs you are on about the residents... dinaire is widely known in the scene for what he does, i listen top his show on XM and so do a lot of my friends.

kristina always seems to play solid sets and gets good remarks on the forums and it seems to me people are genuinely happy to hear her sets, i know we are.

we dont just come to heaven for the headliners, we come for lower level upcoming djs like kristina sky and victor and the other openers they have had.

anthony ross should be a resident? im sorry but are you joking? that means u either haven't listened to his sets, or you haven't listened to the other resident's sets that you are talking ahit on...

i have been at both nights when he opened and imo he is a decent dj and polays some good songs but he is in noy way more qualified to be a resident there than the ones they already have.

i remember coming in at 10 one fri.. not sure who was headling that night, but anthony was opening and the first song he played was extremely hard and he kept at that pace his whole set.. there wasn't anything "warm up" about it.
also, personall y i dont like when djs only spin cds at clubs, maybe for pvd tiesto or somethin but warm up djs should still be re[presenting the vinyl in some way..

the big djs have an excuse, they get their songs quicker when they get them on cdr promos so thats why i dont mind as much then cuz they are playing super fresh tunes...

anyway i just think you are out of line and thought i would say something. maybe not the best way top start this forum but oh wells.

as you said someone has to do it or whatever

my only criticism of heaven right now would actually be taht they have TOO MANY residents.

in europe the clubs have 1-3 resident djs and they rotate. that is cool because it gives those resdients the chance to build a crowd and fan base for the clubs and this way even when there isnt a headliner, there are djs that people can count on and go see play good tracks anyway.

tch is on the right track, i enjoy going there much more than spundae or avalon even if those clubs have more poeple most weeks.. just cuz i feel like heaven is more about the music and less about the "scene", and when its a slow night? who cares? we are supposed to be there for the music right? so i just dance and hang out with my friends anyway.

i think heaven has a family feel if u let it and im sure by next year they will have smoothed out all the kinks and will be on their way to becoming a super club.

bottom line don't hate, participate.

I totally agree with this comment. I really don't care to hear him again. Does any one remember the last time he was there? The dance floor cleared out, few were into his set and everyone went outside on the patio until the headliner came on.

I'd rather hear DJ Kristina Sky or someone who actaully knows how to perform a warm up set!!! She is into the crowd, the crowd loves her and it really shows. She is also one who plays some of the best tracks I've heard, getting us in the mood for the headliner. This is why I come to TRANCE CLUB HEAVEN, to hear both the resident/openers and the headliner, not just the headliner; to hear the best trance out there. I don't come to hear anthems, which you don't normally hear there anyways.

I hope most of you realize how lucky we are to have a club like this. Talk about PASSION, the people behind TCH put their hearts and soul into this club. They work their butts off to get all of this awesome talent from all over Europe and the U.S., along with all the talent coming up in 2005!!! Every Friday I walk into the club, I'm so thankful for what they bring for us to enjoy.

Life is short. Enjoy it. What a waste of time to just bitch and complain. Instead, just get out there and find something you like to do instead of ripping on others for the things they enjoy!

LONG LIVE TRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!
