| I'd have to say either Marco V or Judge Jules. Saw Jules earlier this year, and he was way impressive. Marco V is one of my favs though, so I'd wanna see him for sure. |

how did i get dragged into this?
1st, i've never played above 135 or 136 opening so i couldn't be playing 'hard stuff'...
second, i really don't feel like i should be defending myself because i didn't personally attack anyone but if you want i can take out all the emails from about 5 DJs who are friends of mine that played at TCH and asked me 'who the hell do those resident DJ's think they are?'
look i have nothing against what they are doing, infact i'm happy they are giving lesser known DJ's a chance. I do think what he is saying at some point is fairly constructive, it maybe come off as rude, but he is pointing out what he sees as flaws.
i have no comment about the rest of this, i've stopped the DJing for a bit because of my productions, so this club drama stuff doesn't interest me. i'll see you in 2005 |

we did read your post apologizing, but it was in the exact same post right after you apologized that you launched an attack on the residents. so i guess i just didnt really see that you were sorry at all.

First, I open the club because I want to see people happy, I not open the club for peole talk or play some politic. I have reguler job, I love music, I sick of to see same every week every year, not only LA, anywhere in US, check on wantickets or groove every where is the same DJ they bring. I why I throw the party. Look at the last 10months, how many DJ, Live act I have been bring to LA, how many first time in LA or US. I bet it's about more than 80%. If you could list me one dj I could go by my head. Why I new but a lot of Dj/producer/agency/records lable suport me. Why, because we are the only club in US bring as much as pure trance dj.
TCH's sound was an unusual let-down as well. (I think a few people have noted this already: Me, Noree, LRCN, Jethro, and DaveT. Please get the place EQ'd, I'm begging you, Leon.)
It's my fault, I'm the architecture, I'm not dj or...but I did prove, ask who was come to Heaven last month did we put more sound or no, any one complain sound when Johan play let me know. is this cloud and clear or to much bass let me know I will fix it.
And whoever thought the resident DJs played well on Friday: What in the BLOODY hell were you thinking? They have no skills whatsoever! It's just anthem after anthem, no variety, nor mixing ability. TCH should bring resident's like Anthony Ross, or Magic Helmet to the table (DJs who take their passion seriously, and know what they're doing), unlike those who play mind-game politics and cater to the promoters to acquire gigs. (Very shameful and dishonorable, on the club's behalf.) Moreover, I was extremely disappointed with Heaven; I expected much more.
I could get Mark Lewis, Gran Plan, Kazell, Jeff Boom, Swedish Egil... be my Resident, but I don't. Why, I want to give every body a change, young dj new face. Look at all my opening dj. That why I bring Kristina Sky, Anthony Ross, or Magic Helmet, Varun, Gil LA... Did any play for big club yet. NOPE, but I don't care. One more time becuase I want to give young dj a change. I want every one happy Heaven welcome every one, all for Music.I could not believe it, it's become to much drama, I'm not play politics here. I open the club for FUN

| Awesome leon! You know i'm happy with the resident DJ's. Dj Tranz, Vaun, Annthony Ross, kristina, and the others.... they are all great. While everybody knows kristina is my favorite, I don't have one that i hate the most. Everybody has their style that is good. I think that the sound was great. Much improved from the last time. That nite was perfect and nobody should say otherwise! But of course they do, just to talk crap. |
