basketball of all sorts! college! the association! gripes, comments, thoughts here!
this is why i love NBA players. because they say stupid like...
The game was like `Hamlet.' It was a suspense-thriller and I killed them. - Phoenix Suns' Quentin Richardson commenting on the Suns win over the Nuggets last night. goddamn if only more NBA players said things like that.

Unfortunately, I'm a Portland Trail Blazer fan.
I fawking hate Kobe Bryant more so than any other athlete. What a scumbag! Cheat on wife and later stand up for her honor when allegedly Karl Malone hits on her. Do everything within your power to kick one of the greatest centers ever and the greatest coach out just so you can score 35 a night and lead a .500 team. And just being an arrogant prick. Dude, you're not Michael Jordan. Stop it already. Here's to Shaq busting him in the chops on X-mas day. Sorry... that's my Kobe rant. Oh yeah, I hate the Lakers!!
Lebron James though is the man! What a talent and he just turned 20. I hope he keeps his head.
Watching the Knicks and Nets here in NYC is painful. They aren't very exciting. Maybe Vinsanity and Jason Kidd will shake things up. Look for Vince Carter to get healthy and then stub his toe and miss 20 more games. Biggest wuss in all of basketball.
Isiah Thomas sucks.
As a Celtics fan, do you enjoy seeing Paul Pierce jacking up 30 ill advised shots a game and then pouting when he doesn't get his way?
Same as me painfully watching David Bongamire and Derek Anderson miss wide open jump shot after wide open jump shot. CLANG!
Beautiful to watch Phoenix this year. That's how basketball should be played. Who would have thought 22-3 to start the year. Wow! |

basically, the west has been playing better basketball the last few years. the nets were exciting with the triumvirate of k-mart, rj and kidd, but uhh... cheap owners obliterated that . when i get my own crib and six digit salary, i'm getting nba season pass or something and watch some better ball out west |
