tbh im amazed you got all that for just 6 grand. in the uk all of that is at *least* 4 and 1/2 grand easily. which translates to about 8 or 9 thousand USD. not including records and definitely not including shipping on all of that (!!!). jesus, thats, what? over 50 kilos worth?

how much does it cost to get that stuff to your door?

all of those items are pretty much the most expensive in their class. good on ya if you can afford it but you've just gone and bought practically every DJ's dream list of equipment. some people here myself included will never be able to afford that rig in the forseeable future :eyespop: alls i can say is, damn you better be good or you better get good pretty ing quick cuz you got no excuses now!

Not knocking it, if i could have bought that when i first started out I would have too.

It's going to be such a massive learning curve. It would be enough to learn just basic mixing on 2 decks with a 2 channel mixer. Now you've got a massive mixer with efx, a bloody dedicated efx unit, final scratch etc. You're gonna hit the wall hard. It takes skill to beatmatch, it takes skill to work the mixer, it takes even more skill to work the efx properly, then trow in final scratch... You've just bought the worlds most expensive trainwreck machine.

I spent $950 on my beginner setup (my current setup :/ ) and I think I spent too much, lol.

Oh well man that looks sick, I wish I had the money to drop on a setup like that :P Though I probably would of just stuck with what I have now and spent the rest of the money ($4000-$5000) on vinyl lol.

Hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, if I had that kind of money to spend on equipment, I probably would have, although I think a smaller modest setup will be better for me if I live in a small apartment in the future or something.

Great choices though, with the exception of the headphones.

Are you robbed a bank or something? :D

Anyway, enjoy!
mikefasssy
waaaaaaaaaaaaay overkill, but fun if you have the cash.

even though I know you have a mad record collection i would have just go t decks + mixer and then started up a vinyl savings account.

heh. whatevs, peopel like you most def keep the dj companies in business, thats for sure.

DJ 00 Tommy
im guessing you rob banks for a living? :eyespop:

Man, that's quite the setup for your first crack at DJing. I'm waiting to see what you're going to do for an upgrade.

Did you happen to buy any records?

Great records can sound good on crappy gear. Great gear without good records is meaningless.
